@@venth85 idk if thats better than this video. The skirt in the video you linked to doesn’t move as much as the one here, which presents fewer technical challenges
I'm glad her hands had no collision model with her skirt because it could have caused the apocalypse on 0:35 By the way now I know that not only fire and water are the only things you can watch forever, there's the cloth physics now too....
It was so uncomfortably entertaining and frankly mezmorizing to watch her dance compared to 90% of the videos out there! Her clothes rendering look more real than she does!
three years on, I still occasionally watch this video. It's not as sexy as your newer stuff, but I love the expressions you put on Haku's face. It actually looks like she is enjoying dancing to this song -which is why I come back to it time and time again.
Description stated they used C4D.. It's a 3D rendering software.. To my understanding, they exported MMD motion and MMD model into C4D and does all the rendering work there. Each frame rendering time can take between 20 sec to 5 min depends on their hardware. It's 99 seconds x 30 frames = 3000 frames at 4K resolution.. Sounds like a whole day or two to complete or maybe more! Guess their hydro billing was well spent!
It's simply wonderful and so satisfying to see how far MMD has come and improved. But I must admit, there was a certain "charm" that came with the stiff clothes, hair, limbs and all body motion as a whole how crazy they went.
is this really MMD? coz holy shit the program got improved alot, like really alot, i thought this was blender at first. Heck its like its on par with blender now, with its phyisics and quality render. P.s Also the lighting on this one is really good too.
That's some top notch animation and texturing. I've watched couple of these mmd animations, but most of them have exaggerated movements or physics or poor textures. This one looks like a motion capture of a real dancer and physics are just... *noice*
Actually I wanted to say only a thing about this rendering, this rendering is way more beautiful than the original video song. (I am not opposing those who like the og video song), movements are really beautiful 😍😍
Despite my very obvious thirst, I have to say this is a whole new level of animation! What software do you use, how do you create the models and how can you animate with such fluidity? It's amazing!!
went back to check, yeah some of the newer videos arent corrected for the model object against the background. the current model work they do is spot on, they are too busy to correct the backgrounds against the models motions it seems.
Perfect roto-scoping … ie using hardware to dang near perfectly match the movements of a REAL WOMAN dancing. very good animation work who ever did this.. incredible in fact
I've said this before on another video and I'll say it again, I've been a fan of mmd for a long time and seeing the animation become so smooth is really something else, but damn my brain was trying to figure out if the background was real, and if motion capture was used to get the movement so real. Then I was like dude just enjoy the vid
The AI in my computer loves this and it's so pumped right now while I'm playing this video, I see that my system temp is rising and performance is going nuts.
