It looks like you care for this bunny, but there are some things you should know, and these come from a point of knowledge and advice, not criticism. First, bunnies don't belong in cages. Pet stores will say they are fine, and that is because they know nothing about the care of rabbits, the just know to sell you as much as possible. Second the litterbox is far too small, and it has a wire bottom which can hurt your bun's paws, or even cause a break. The best litterbox is a covered cat litterbox. You can still use the pee pad, but add some paper based litter on one side and fill the other half with hay. Bunnies eat and poop at the same time. And even though you have some hay, it's nowhere near enough. Their diet should be 80% hay, then fresh veggies, timothy hay pellets and then treats. I couldn't quite see what was in the dish, but it looked like seeds. Also saw you turning up the heat on a heating pad. There is absolutely no need for a heating pad. Rabbits can't sweat, so if they get over heated they can suffer from heat stroke, which can be fatal. The other issue with heating pads is the wires. Rabbits love to chew wires. This can result in a burnt mouth which would cause them to stop eating, or electrocute them, both of which can cause death. I didn't see a water dish, so I'm guessing you got a water bottle as instructed by the pet store. Bottles become contaminated with bacteria easily and are hard to clean. A heavy ceramic dish is good, a fountain even better. Rabbits will drink more when there is running water. And lastly, keeping a cover on the cage deprives a bunny of what they need most and that is interaction with you. Rabbits are very social animals. They are also the most active at dawn and dusk. Also a cover will keep the heat inside the cage, especially if you have a heater, again super dangerous. Bunnies are amazing animals. They are loving, kind, sensitive, playful, and super smart. They belong with you just like a cat or dog would, and they will live as long as well. Who wants to spend 10 years in a cage where you can't run around. It will be less work because you won't have a cage to clean, and you will benefit from your bunny bonding with you. Plus watching them zoom around and do binkies is amazing.
