Even when he only played one game, Akai has already become my favorite character in the series. He really gave Levin a hard time, not to mention he blocked ALL three of his Levin Shots with no hesitation whatsoever. I'd never seen any defender so relentless and dedicated like him, not even real life players could do what he can...
On top of that, a Levin Shot (not the one that increased in speed but power) is capable of destroying a stone monument, meaning Akai’s ribs are hella tough to withstand not 1 but 3 whole shots which were mostly close ranged and blud has the stamina to go on even though he has the most injuries in one game. It’s a shame though that in Rising Sun, he got injured while playing for his club, they could have used him considering that Japan’s Defensive line is in shambles after their match against Germany
