Randomly I discovered this song and it gave me such an overfixation. The art is so good and clear that you can still undarstand what is happening and what feelings are putted in the music and animation even if you don't know japanese. Colors speak so loudly that if you understand the process of obsession or being "love sick" with person who doesn't accept your feelings, you can still feel it without a part that you're obsessed in. I have this song on a loop and everytime that it begins again i can hear new notes that i hadn't heard earlier and it's just a masterpice. The fact that this was maded with a vocaloid just tells that you're very talented, the artist of the animation too bringed the best for final product. Thank you for your hard work!

The irony of this song getting all of us obsessed with it while being about an obsessive unrequited love is beautiful. It feels amazing to listen to

From rewatching the animation and going back to read the lyrics multiple times, I've been able to interpret a very long essay on what I think this song could be about. Please don't take my words too seriously. I have no way to know if I am correct. I will keep this as short as possible for you. I've seen the names Himari and Aoi used for the characters, so I'll call them that. I believe Himari and Aoi are a couple, who started dating when they were younger. They both reciprocated their feelings at first, but Aoi ended up falling out of love with Himari over the years. This is what his 'secret' that Himari knows is. Himari decides to keep her knowledge from him, and starts to try to 'win him back' by doing as much as she can. The cinema, changing her wallpaper to a photo of him, and in the end of the animation, but to no avail. Just before the final chorus (2:19) you see that Aoi won't even look at her anymore. She tries to reach out for him, but he keeps walking away. She lets out a sigh/scream, that she's hit her breaking point (the screen shatter effect). This is when she tries one final attempt at making him like her again; she cuts her hair short, like it was when she was younger (when Aoi still liked her). He doesn't show a positive response, which in turn makes her feel awkward as well. Aoi decides to break up with her, as she's become too obsessive. At 2:46, you see Aoi shown in a way that would make you assume he is dead. I see it more as a metaphor, where Aoi no longer is around Himari even as a friend, hence Himari seeing it as if he had died. - Thank you if you had read this. I am sorry that I could not keep it to a few sentences, I just didn't want to leave you with too many questions (if you have any). Something extra: 2:49, Himari crushes the heart that they once made together with their hands at 0:47, which I interpreted as her also letting go of the relationship.

i am OBSESSED, i didn't expect for it to be fully animated throughout whole 3 minutes !! this is so so beautiful, the animated parts are so smooth, and the art style is so beautiful !! i love the whole vibe, which suits the song so well and the story conveyed is so well told in the video man, this is a masterpiece and i'm so grateful it popped up on my 'for you' page truly inspirational, i aspire to be able to draw and animate like that !! amazing job !

ive watched this animation a few times now and one detail i really like at the beggining is in the scene where shes sending him messages. and i really like how the time of the messages is shown. shed write multiple within a few minutes, hes take hours to respond and as soon as he did with 1 text she responds in the same minute and spamming him again. and when it cuts to his pov of the messages the times dont loop as if that from before was shown just from the other side of the chat, rather a continuation from the last time stamp 7:54 PM/AM

i love how initially the art is clear and wholesome and towards the end it just descends into insanity

I'm glad so many people are seeing this, not sure how it doesn't have more views with how good it is, unfortunately I have no real clue of the deeper story line going on here😭, but I caught some of the obvious things. But the art is just so good, so purposely chaotic almost which really complements the song itself. The only thing is its definitely harder to type in the hiragana anytime I want to listen instead of the romanji lol
