Polygon Pictures once again cutting frames off to make their work "feel like anime" when the CGI works best at full frame. I swear this production should have been handled by Digital Frontier or Studio Orange is the production committee wanted to make this CG.
whitestriderable How exactly? If it had that many frames it would have fluid movement. The models aren't half bad, the voice acting is impeccable, and the background art is decent. All that could destroy this adaptation is poor directing and scripting.
Man this looks so much better than the first PV, now that i could see more of the characters movements and expressions i can calm a little. Also can people stop screaming Berserk 2016/17 every time that a cgi anime is announced? I know that was a mess and i'm sorry for the team involved but this is not that. The series is being handled by the studio that make Ajin, Knights of Sidonia and this one is little shady but they made Ronja the robbers daughter. Pls have a little more faith. In conclusion this doesn't look as bad as you think and for CGI the art style is spot on. I wish i can do something with the framerate tho.
Yeah it looks so much better because this time we actually get the scenes, the character models are more render, the ilumination, the clothing movement but i´m not hoping that you would notice any of that Mr. Polygon is shit
I hope you troll and have more words than garbage. Whenever there is a CGI anime, people will compare it to Berserk 2016. These guys are Polygon and at the same time the production is handled by Comic Zenon which is responsible for many Hokuto Franchise and whatnot.
Guys, you DO know that 30 FPS videos already exists? Why make 3D-anime and render it in default 15 FPS? It is enough for 2D, but not for 3d. ESPECIALLY 3D with lot's of fight. You should learn from "Houseki no Kuni".
I find it funny that Koyasu has now both voiced Kenshiro and a character that is in a antagonistic relationship with Kenshiro (even if it's Kenshiro Kasumi).
That's probably because pretty much all moving objects in anime are animated between 6 and 12 fps. 24 fps at the very most, but you almost never see that.
The character models look much more high quality than the ones in that shitty Berserk anime, but dear lord that framerate is utterly terrible. Each character looks like they're animated at 10 frames per second. I am pessimistic, but I really hope this does well. Souten No Ken is one of my favorite manga ever.
TheQuazz wait, what?! David Productions already prove themselves to be capable of doing awesome stuff. I really hope that i'm reading wrong your argument and that you are being sarcastic there.
The animation in Jojo's is terrible. Sure, as a whole the show is done well, but something action-heavy like Souten no Ken deserves to have well-done animation and fight choreography
TheQuazz Jojo has amazing animation, the animation was only kinda bad in the start of part 1 and in part 4, if David productions isn't a choice then they should have at least gone with the guys who made the strawberry DD hokuto no ken specials, those looked amazing but we're only like a minute long
