I love how they changed the theme of the horror for this one. Phantom had hallucinations, illusion arts and trained assassins, so you have to constantly doubt yourself, as you are questioning if you are even still sane, as you can barely tell, if you are fighting shadows or stabbing your friends. Mizuki has things that will attack you unexpectedly, while you are slowly losing light in your lantern. Paranoia overwhelms you, as you have to keep track of many dangers that lurks deep within. And this one feels like pure dread - the danger stares you in the face, you see it from a mile away, but your mind just freezes for a few seconds, as you can't even comprehend what are you looking at.
The first time this played for me, an Emperors Blade walked out of the red box and all I had as a 6* was Ling and rest were 3*s lol. The music made the battle epic.
Hearing these is total mood whiplash because I also played BA and we got Christmas and New Year event rerun recently, both associate with cold temperature but heart warming event while IS4 had sub zero temperature setting that could turn you into ice sculpture even with full protective gears and new, mysterious threat from the ice field.
Wow, what a chilling and haunting soundtrack for this new interaction. Awesome the PV theme is one of the boss themes! And no one ever asked for Mongolian throat singing, but here we go and it's epic!
It's the first time for IS main bosses to have their separate themes. The whole OST slap really hard!! I wonder about thw Monthly squad though. I wonder who will be featured in the next 12 months aside from Magallan.
@@miraishinigami So what you're saying is that in IS2 we have 3 themes for 4 bosses and in IS3 we have 2(3) themes for 3(4) bosses. 75% seems like a pretty good ratio to me. But I get your point, with themes for everyone this time.
The distorted theme is really fitting with the theme of the event, i hope to see what the bosses sprites look like as their themes sound really good too!!!
Definitely. I want this comment to be higher. Loved Homeworld, absolutely unique games, unique experience. Not just another RTS. The space sights, the music, the missions. If you love sci-fi, if you love space - you absolutely should to give it a try. I think BattleStar Galactica is somewhat close to Homeworld in a lot of aspects, even story-wise. And the music by Bear McCreary has a lot of Eastern motives, hell even his version of "All Along the Watchtower". This composer has a blog where he explains the way he composed tracks and there are plenty of mentions of using the Eastern motives.
@@olodesu the rebooted BSG definitely had some fans of HW in the production team; soundtrack aside, I think the use of the HW Bentusi VA/Narrator in one of the BSG movies might be an inkling of that
@@LinhKHoang-xu7ed If you didn't already know, the enemy mobs in the 2nd ending gain increased movement speed when the boss has his shield up. If you can manage to break the shield, the movement speed of enemies goes back to normal.

As I have mention above both PC and mobile has this chapter function , look on the left right above the progress bar if you are on mobile or below the progress bar, on the right of the volume button if you are on PC, and you will see progress timer and total length of the video time/time. Then look of the right of it, you will see names like Boss 01, 02, 03 or Battle 01, 02, 03 or Theme 01, 02, Alter, Distort while on this video and there is a icon pointing on the right like this > . Next, click on the icon or the name or anything in between and a list of chapters will show up, when you click on the chapter or you are currently on that one, a share and repeat icon will appear on the right, click on the repeat icon on that specific chapter to loop it. NOTE: This Repeat icon is not available on the web version of RU-vid on mobile, you have to enable the Desktop site option on your browser for that icon to appear again.
Techno-monglolian sounds like a cool concept, but unfortunately they didnt really manage to make it sound cohesive or memorable. Pass for me, worst IS ost yet.
Only Magallan and Santalla clothes are valid here. Magallan is from RL so her clothes is warm comfy and high tech, Santalla already have Ice based art and lived in tundra winter for a long time so the cold doesn't bother her that much (also she got the moniker The Witch because people saw her dressed like a witch when fighting the Ursus officers). Typhon is literally pure fanservice 😂😂, girl is 5'5 and can hold that giant bow while wearing heel already 💀
