Hdog Hillyer I liked Crescent. It was the first 80 monster I saw. It was the first time I’d heard of 80 too because it was a compilation of him I found
I definitely feel like there's a lot of monsters from the Showa era who deserve a return, especially those from Jack onwards. Most of the monsters from the early Showa entries show up consistently, but for the latter entries it seems only a few of the more famous ones come back. For this series, I feel like it's a huge shame that Gymaira hasn't made a return. The character has a ton of potential and would fit very well into a new series.
Sucks that he's the least known of the Showa Ultramen. At he's canon though. I like the concept of minus energy it's too bad they abandoned it later on in the series.
Rob Lee killcounts If I were to make a ultraman top 5 series as a child then here it is: 1. Ace Probably the best series yet cuz after finishing the series when I was a kid, I realized I was a god damn man after the traumatizes 2. Jack No word just pure excellent 3. Mebius Really cool show tho at first I never knew he was a part of the Ultra Brothers 4. Nexus One hell dark series 5. Cosmos The show was good and the song is really fantastic
I think u missed a few monster in Ultraman 80.. There's an episode where the monster is very sensitive with sound..2nd that robot monster which people start missing at night and ultraman 80 went into different dimension..
i like showa ultraman, they're powerful, aggressive, violent. unlike most modern days ultraman. and they also help each other frequently. sadly Tsuburaya didn't keep this criterias in the new generation hero. mostly because now Tsuburaya is led by a new management and this new management is responsible for creating the new generation hero, hoping that it would be somehow different and better and awesome compared to the showa ultraman. but for me seriously they fail
WBC #5 is Tabra, an ancient monster that was once defeated by another Ultraman, but came back to life to challenge 80. (Another kaiju from 80's time that was rather underrated)
