The Carpenters waren ein US-amerikanisches Pop-Duo, bestehend aus den Geschwistern Richard Carpenter (* 1946 ) und Karen Anne Carpenter (1950-1983) . Die Carpenters erreichten den Höhepunkt ihrer Karriere in den 1970er Jahren.

いつもこのチャンネルをご視聴いただきありがとうございます。今回はカーペンターズの『青春の輝き』をアップしました。カーペンターズは、アメリカ･カリフォルニア州ロサンゼルス出身の兄妹が中心メンバーのポップ・ミュージック・グループでピアノとアレンジを兄のリチャードが、ヴォーカル（初期はドラムスも）を妹カレンが担当しました。ロック全盛の1970年代において独自の音楽スタイルを貫き、大きな成功を収めましたが1983年2月4日のカレンの死により活動を終えました。カレンの優しい歌声とカーペンターズ独特の響きは年月が経っても色褪せることなく私たちの心を癒してくれます。この曲はカレンが生前最も好んだ曲だったと言われています。
