Hi to my beloved gorilla family! This is John's wife, Kathie Shirley! Kintaro you are a smart young man, he knew he had to watch out for his Mom & Dad! Genii has taken food out of his hands & Momotaro knocked Kintaro 3's away from his food (I stopped counting) when little Kentaro was several feet away swinging with the ball! Thank you Ms Hina for sneaking so many carrots to him! The carrots almost look like orange! Thank you to all that help & most importantly for sharing!

Ať tato rodinka žije navěky,každý den musím vidět tyhle úžasné tvorečky .Narodil se maličký rodičům který mezi sebou mají lásku jakou nemají mezi sebou ani lidé.Nemohu uvěřit jaký z něj roste silný kluk,ale v obličeji je a bude pořád maličký a hravý Kintáreček.Miluji vás💞💞💞Jsem ráda že existují zoologické zahrady.Nevidím to jako omezování zvířat,ale naopak jako záchranu jejich životů.Jsou v bezpečí před pytláky,děkuji všem co se o ně staráte🙏👍

Kintaro doesn't seem to be fond of the broccoli...he drops it on the ground when Ms. Hina gives it to him. But he sure loves the carrots. Our "Little Fat Boy Slim" is so adorable. He's becoming more independent and his body and face are becoming fuller. This family of gorilla's are very attractive with nice features and they all have beautiful eyes.

Kintaro seem to be doing great , he loves the keepers,Dad and mom are so wrapped up in food.i think they should go inside when it rains .mom won’t hardly go in when it’s cold and baby won’t be safe without her , wish they had more space

@@editeritenberga873 Я все понимаю, животные ухоженные, корм практически постоянно у них ввиде травы, веток, но в тот раз был явный перебор с кормлением и хорошо, что все обошлось. А вот перед Новым годом ребёнку явно было плохо, он был вялый, не играл, сидел у мамы на ручках и глазки у него были очень грустные. Причина, конечно неизвестна, но мне кажется, что это было связано с пищей, вот поэтому я прямо заволновалась за него.

Keepers how is Shabani to deal with? Is he a kind and gentle gorilla or do you fear him? I think he seems like a sweet, gentle , patient gorilla.

Carrots are a great treat. We give carrots to our 2 French Bulldogs. We give them raw carrots in small cubes mixed into their kibble and give them raw carrots cut in quarter planks. This provides two ways they enjoy carrots.

I love your videos. I love all your Gorila family, and I enjoy watching them. BUT. The fact that someone from outside the enclosure is documenting the everyday life of these animals mixed with babies crying, mothers yelling at their kids, cameras clicking. . . . it's just too much. You have invested so much money into creating such a wonderful environment. Why not spend a bit extra and place CCTV INSIDE the enclosure so that we don't have to hear the noise from the humans????????????? I would like to thank you, in advance for your response.

@@bonniekenzie8545 Dear Sir/Madam, I am puzzled as to the fact that you have targeted your response to my words “wonderful environment”, instead of my proposal of an internal CCTV system that encompasses all modern monitoring systems that are absolutely vital towards the well being of all enclosed wild animals. As for the fact that there are other zoo’s that have a much more suitable environment, I do not deny it. But the Kyoto City Zoo has constructed, for better or for worse, this enclosure which keeps the animals warm when it’s cold outside and cool when it’s hot. There is an abundance of fresh food and the ground is relatively free of fecal matter. Exercise by means of ropes and various other means is also available. No, it may not be the best but it’s definitely not the worst. And the animals look healthy.

I would prefer that money would be spent on updating and cleaning in this enclosure to enhance the lives of the gorillas not money spent on CCTV which is for the benefit of human viewers.I understand that we are all entitled to our own opinion.

Not just this family. They are mostly fed grass clippings and tree branches. It’s hard to get full on grass. The quality of the food is not good on most days.

@@shawna6683 That was 3 years ago when I first learned about the Momotaro Family. Love them so very much and I started learning & reading more about gorillas. You're right, all gorillas are like that, the mommas only breastfeed, unless mom gorilla refuse their newborn. Now, I watch D'jeecos, Shabanis, Oumbis, Haokos, ( Haoko's wife, Momoko),has a baby at Ueno Zoo, they call her Princess Plum Sumomo ☺️, she is now a year or so, and so strong and independent, a doll! I hope you enjoy them all too‼️💪🌸🥁🙏🥇👑🤗🦍Blessings to All❣️💞💖🎋🍀

每天都會來看桃太郎家族但還是沒看到有給蔬菜水果.真的該請京都動物園的人員去看看上野動物園和東山動植物園的食物分配,我只喜歡桃太郎家族卻看不到他們能吃得更好,金太郎明顯比上野動物園寶寶來的小,我只愛金太郎跟元太郎希望他們能吃得更好

優しいコメントをありがとうございます。京都市動物園の飼育員さんたちは長年の経験と知識によりエサを与えていると思います。確かに個体によって成長の過程がかなり違うのは人間でも同じかと思います。野菜や果物は与えてはいますが、なるべく糖度の高い果物は避けているのでしょう。ゴリラの歯は人間に比べかなり歯のエナメル質が薄く虫歯になりやすいらしいです。ゲンキは動物園に未だその経験がなく甘い果物をたくさん与えていたので虫歯で歯がなくなってしまっています。その結果モモタロウやゲンタロウと同じ牧草を食べているのに消化が悪く排便がうまくいっていないようです。いろいろな原因はあるでしょうが我々ゴリラを愛するファンからするともっとおいしそうなものを与えて欲しいと思うこともありますが、日々ゴリラのことを思い研究し努力している動物園を信じ見守っていきたいと思います。媞媞さんも暖かく見守ってください。世界的知識を持っている京都大学が一緒に観察してくれています。素敵な一日をお過ごしください。
