I used to train professionaly and i during traning my teachers would actually use differently coloured cubes, broken balls with marks or cups as a way to train our accuracy. You needed to knock all, select few or one without touching the others off the table. It was in fact really fun! And allowed for some quite memorable moments too. For example, at some point i managed to land a shot that my trainer purposefully made impossible to land because he thought i was doing too good
