What i hate about dia no ace is whenevr any school against Yakushi, they will make yakushi upperhand, I mean, like they have no pressure, like Yakushi wwas blessed by the author, like they were the protagonist of the series, look at this match, manaka has an accident, in the match against inajitsu, mei doesn't play well, and in seido game in final, Miyuki and kawakami got an injury, I don't know, they really wanna make Yakushi so overpower, even though they don't have good player such as Miyuki, Tetsuya, Narumiya, etc.
I think Sanada and Raichi are as strong as Miyuki or Tetsuya. Sanada can pitch 140km and he has cutball. Raichi is the strongest batter in the dia no ace. Raichi hit double from Furuya and homerun from Sawamura. By the way, Yakushi student was invited Tokyo Senbatsu. And, Sanada was injuried then.

"We will form a team just for 5 days to play against american baseball team, and I choose player that I think have a skill to endure this team" and he doesn't choose mishima sanada or even raichi, he even invited sanko clean up and pompadour guy, i forgot his name tho
@@dennysatia Yakushi did get invited. There's a scene where one of the players returns to their school and tells Sanada how amazing they were, which he replies by saying he should've gone. It's at the part after Miyuki and Narumiya chat on the subway I believe. I'm pretty sure it wasn't mentioned in the anime why he chose not to go, but he probably wouldn't have played anyways with how the game went. In regards to the idea of Yakushi having some kind of plot armor I think all the teams in the series have some too (ex. Miyuki literally throwing out every runner stealing second unless he's hurt, Hongo's absurd ability (it's literally impossible to replicate his performance at Koshien in real life), Narumiya being 5'8 and skinny but throwing low 90s). I think Sanada and Todoroki aren't more OP them everyone else. Sanada can't pitch deep into games bc of stamina issues but he also comes in clutch, Todoroki being probably the best power hitter in the series but being a poor-ish fielder and having issues overthinking and putting too much pressure on himself
