ngl I hate how Miku sounds.. I just hope ichika got more vocals and Miku got the backing vocals

​@nvsmiuu_ Miku is a tough one. Sometimes people make her sound fine. But other times she is just the indistinguishable chipmunk squeaky voice in the back that grates on your nerves. Ichika is fine. I don't hate her, dislike her, like her or love her. She is just alright. Nothing special that stands out but not bad.

@@nvsmiuu_yeah, Ichika is supposed to be the main singer but I feel like most of the time it’s either like Ichika: 20 lines Miku: 15 lines Saki: 5 lines Honami: 4 lines Shiho: 6 lines Or Miku: 20 Ichika: 15 Saki: 5 Honami: 4 Shiho: 6 Teratera has the 2nd one kinda but Shiho and Honami have the same amount of lines and saki has a bit more (unless I counted them bad)

I've heard that by the 6th anniversary the current units will have finished their stories, and after that we get new units, so it's possible!

ngl but if u truly think the 4 boys are ALL better-written than the 16 girls (which i disagree with btw) and your solution for that is to have an all-boys unit instead of wanting better-written female characters… i think you need to look inward and ask yourselves Why you think this way fr 😭 especially considering the rampant misogyny in the fandom, the way the 4 boys get way more fandom content, and the girls get mostly ignored or sometimes even hated on. 16 girls who are incredibly interesting, well-written, and have dimension and have way more screentime than the 4 boys.

@@mimikyuno Firstly, you didn't read my comment right. I said that the boys are better written than SOME of the girls, not all of them. Secondly, do you really think ALL of the girls are well-written? Take Ichika for example. It's very clear that she's a bland mc type of character, all she wants to do is improve her musicianship (like every other character in the game) and has a love for Miku. She's kind I guess, but so is Kanade,Honami, Toya and a lot of other characters. She doesn't have unique character arc. I could mention other females as well, but I'll stop here. It's okay if ur a fan of the girls, there's nothing wrong with that, but the fact is, someone as multi-layered as Rui doesn't compare to simpler characters like Ichika, Minori or Kohane. Have a nice day. Edit: what I mean by "well-written", is the depth a character has, just so I'm clear. Also, it's very normal that the boys in the game get a lot of attention, there's only 4 of them against 16 girls (not counting the Vocaloids). Plus, all of them have a sad backstory attached to them, so just like N25, they attract a lot of attention.

@@_rainy.days_ Hmm, I'm also aware in the Japanese server, VBS is getting ready to surpass Rad Weekend (and I assume they did it, cuz Ultra C is a fire song). Wouldn't their story be finished? If all the other units get their arcs finished, wouldn't the new units come by the fourth anniversary? But who knows, maybe our original units will set new goals to suprass.

@@bluishnotes7276 yeah i didn’t read that “some”, i had just woken up and brain was not braining (which is also why i replied bc i never do lol). but yeah i’m just sensitive about this bc it’s undeniable that there is a lot of misogyny in the fandom so i assumed that’s where your comment was coming from with my sleepy brain! though im gonna say i do think the girls you mentioned are not poorly written or developed, bc compared to basic anime MC’s they have more depth. also i think the boys are just as well-written as the girls!! i rly like the writing in pjsk and how it plays into anime tropes while also subverting (eg ena plays in the tsundere character mold, but a more realistic and humanized one). and yeah im a big fan of the girls (himejoshi here) so i rly notice the misogyny in the fandom and had a knee-jerk reaction upon waking up. sorry!! have a good day 😭
