今回、テイオウヒラタを求めてハッピーアイランドと呼ばれるカタンドゥアネス島のビラク、プッチャン、ビガへ昆虫採集に行ってきました。🪲🦋
カタンドゥアネス島がハッピーアイランドとして知られているのは、その豊かな歴史や文化、素晴らしい自然の美しさだけでなく、フレンドリーな人々が温かく迎えてくれるカタンドゥンガン文化にあるそうです。
カタンドゥアネス島でも、フィリピン人の優しさを垣間見る事が出来ました。
今峰HIDライトによる昆虫採集では、ついに念願のアトラスオオカブトを見る事が出来ました！
This time we went to Virac, Putsan and Viga on Catanduanes Island, called Happy Island, to observe insects in search of the Dorcus titanus imperialis.
Catanduanes is known as a "happy island" not only because of its rich history, culture, and stunning natural beauty, but also because of its Catandungan culture, where friendly people are warm and welcoming.
Even on Catanduanes Island, we were able to catch a glimpse of the kindness of the Filipinos.
In the insect observation using Imamine HID lights, we were finally able to see the Chalcosoma atlas that we had longed for!
