Our government dosent even give a damn about our railways…no electrification, maintenance, nothing. Well, except for the light rail metro that only operates in Manila and the major cities.
As of now, the locomotive in the video (DEL 917) is already repainted and rehabilitated. She is now wearing an orange/black paintjob. KiHa 59 Kogane and KiHa 350 had undergone the same as well they are wearing new paintjobs matching the upcoming INKA trains. The same goes for the entire line. (Rail replacement works, refixing of broken RR Crossing barriers, etc.)
Hopefully the railway get more attention from government, and make them better. In indonesia, last 6 years we get much improvement, thanks for the government and the people who involved
Well theyre trying a bit, Their doing the MRT7, Manila underground subway, MRT3 Mall of asia extension, Manila to malolos route and a few more, they are also starting to modernize the trains now
Hehe your right the ph gov is improving the railways Also building Nscr ,mrt 9 mrt 7 lrt 1 extention Also buying new rolling stocks to existing metros ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-g3-RSL6sUvs.html
Doesn’t it make sense to the PNR to put up tall fences on either side of the rail tracks to keep trespassers and freeloaders out, and generally for safety? Just like what is done in every other country? Alabang station shows the reality of the bad state of PNR. The squatters nearby, no fences to divide the track from the pedestrian area, lots of trash, no track maintenance etc.
When big changes are going to be applied to PNR. One of the big changes will be their ROW Allignment Property to be guarded or just being fenced properly so that illegal settler can't build houses illegally near the railway and No more trespassers to be seen.
@@donaldtrumpy5914 Philippines is building building two new lines from Manila to Calamba and Manila to Clark respectively, and they will be funded by Japan and built to Japanese standards.
@@donaldtrumpy5914 Don't be too rude. The PNR railways and train sets will improve soon. Have you seen the news about Duterte's government? He started the Build Build Build Program that will result in the Golden Age of Infrastructure in the Philippines. If you check it out yourself, you will notice that there are lots of construction everywhere here in the Philippines. We even have help from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to build these massive infrastructure projects, check the news. We will soon have Japanese-style trains here in the Philippines. Check this out: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North%E2%80%93South_Commuter_Railway
Indonesia has nothing to do with this, trust me I got a train in Indonesia and it sucks more, it's so hot and the tracks are always filled with garbage I had never seen in The Philippines
@@Ken-uf2se ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HzWQ_UDbR38.html ARE U Joke and Liar??? Train in Indonesia all full AC and modern,Clean , don't like train poor PNR like Trash
@@Ken-uf2se I'm talking about railways infrastructure (apart from MRT/LRT), the Indonesian commuter line has become so convenient thanks to cheap but reliable 2nd hand Japanese trains such as JR 205 rolling stocks. We are able to use these trains because we have electricity on pantographs over all Jabodetabek area. As opposed to Phillipines they don't have electricity system to cover the whole railways (except MRT/LRT) of Manila and surroundings, still relying on diesel locomotives. What you're saying is true if you visited Jakarta before 2012 where there were no ex-Tokyo Metro trains came to operate in Indonesia.. but now the Commuter line is miles ahead of PNR. There's no more people climbing on rooftops, people uses e-money cards to get in station, about 300+ ex-Tokyo metro trains are being imported to Jakarta, reviving unused rails, daily ridership above 1million, stations are now modernised like MRT.. Now I see this Video, I can say Indonesia IS ahead of Phillipines, because I'm a daily users of Commuter Line for years. I wish Phillipines can catch up, all the best.
Now, now people... no railway is far more worse... PNR have just ordered new trainsets from PT INKA of Indonesia. Besides, PNR was about to have its lines and trains run in electricity and I have read and seen an article somewhere on the Internet regarding a plan about it from the 70s (electrifying the trains and the lines of PNR) but those plans didn't go through for some reasons. Sure that we have also acquired train donations from Japan before... and while they're here, they're still pretty much handy for our commuter lines as long as they're still useful for the PNR... the PNR 203 Series EMUs may seem to be locomotive hauled, they still have a source of power for the basic necessities like the air conditioning, the lights, and the doors, all cominh from a generator set located at the head car of an EMU set.
The Philippine National Railways is about to have its system and its railway lines improve and all we have to do is wait for these to happen. The PNR is included and part of the Railway Modernization Program and Buil! Build! Build! Infrastructure Projects of our current administration. The North-South Commuter Railway Project is one of the railway projects that PNR is involved. In this project, it features the connectivity of one whole modern railway system which will link and connect the North and South, and will also help travel to be seamless and hassle-free, aimed to provide better quality service and train speed.
Even I as a Filipino so disappointed about the system in regards to this transportation. If I am been gonna be interviewed I'll gonna tell everything that needs to be improved.
baluktot na ang riles ng train, sige pa rin. hindi man lang pondohan ng gobyerno ang train system na mas reliable kaysa ibang mas transport. ang mga train ay parang napabayaan na.
Only elevated light rails run on electric, and so will be the first subway (apparently). Plans are to rehabilitate this rail, and likely to be electric for sure.
