Bite-sized Fumikado with an excellent jazz sounding theme. Oh yeah, the sibling lasers are a bit odd. I choose to believe that while Para and Fumikado are both in each other’s bodies, they still dress with their own fashion senses. It’s not that far of a stretch, especially after considering Haiji.
Something I find clever about this theme is that, while it lifts a ton from Fumikado's theme, it doesn't have the same 3-note motif that most other characters associated with Fumikado- namely Iyozane, Garaiya, and Chouki- have in theirs. It's a nice little nod to how, despite having been used so callously by Fumi in the past, Para is ultimately not that involved with their ambition or that of the Dragonflies. All they want is revenge.
The first minute or so kinda feels like the first minute of homunculus dream, but if you turned the musical score upside down and then put everything in relatively the octave they used to be in. Does anyone else feel like that's the case? Or did I do a bad job explaining it?
"... but if you turned the musical score upside down and then put everything in relatively the octave they used to be in. " Where were you going with this? Also I'm pretty sure the similarity to Homunculus Dream was intentional, 1:10 to 1:36 uses the melody in the intro of Homunculus Dream, and that's ignoring the title being similar as well. It makes sense because of backstory reasons.
uh i'd imagine fumikado was a legal adult when all of the soul-swapping stuff went down, since it seems to be a pretty serious project and you wouldn't- you wouldnt really put children in charge of stuff like that and para is probably really old now, on top of being immortal (they dont age, new emperor stage 5 dialogue) so go for it i suppose
@@zoeyuroboros5739 but sese said para is *struggling a lot for a child* in the game but also yea sese also said they look well developed for a child too so
