Recently, I watched this series. I really enjoyed It, might even dare rewatch. Sadly, can't say the same about the sequel..... assuming It Is the sequel. Kind of felt like a spinoff with characters from the first series "not knowing each other", which struck me weird...
I think you watched the OVA first, which had original ending as the novels weren't finished yet back then. TV version followed more closely how the original story goes in the novels. Just my guess why you confused, it's pretty difficult to understand this difference if you just start watching thinking they are like sequel of the other.
It Is? That Is kinda weird... could swear It was a sequel cuz the story continued with the OVA's protagonist Parn being the same one after the ending of OVA: Became a hero, Knight of Lodoss & was using that.... Light Sword, was It?
@@emishimaru-sama6449 Aah I think I meant there is that OVA seris of the show and then there is the TV version, TV version do have more content and do continue further than the OVA's. Sorry for confusing.
They are different continuities, the series takes place after similar events of the OVA, but they aren't exactly the same, the OVA doesn't have a sequel, I think. There is also another OVA that shows what happened to Ashram after he departs for a different continent, I think it's Legend of Crystania.
The characters are like Shining Force. Occupations n races like humans , elves, dwarves , mages , priests , thieves , swordsmen , dragons , black knights , goblins , kings. only lack robots😂
