K.C. Ting (PhD-Illinois & Professional Engineer-New Jersey) is Professor and Head Emeritus of Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) and Adjunct Professor of Zhejiang University (ZJU)-UIUC Institute in Zhejiang, China. He served as a Vice Dean of International Campus, ZJU during 2017-2020. He has a B.S. from National Taiwan University, an M.S. from University of Kentucky, and a Ph.D. from UIUC, all in agricultural engineering. He served as department head/chair at four universities in the U.S. including University of Houston (1984-1985), Rutgers University (1993-1999), The Ohio State University (2000-2004), and UIUC (2004-2016).
