在新春浓浓的年味儿里，一场关于冰雪的体育盛会--中华人民共和国第十四届冬季运动会(以下简称“十四冬”)在内蒙古自治区呼伦贝尔市的内蒙古冰上运动训练中心拉开帷幕。
相约“十四冬”，魅力内蒙古。呼伦贝尔，一颗银装素裹的北疆草原明珠，“中国红”与“冰雪白”在这里交相辉映。2月17日晚8时，来自全国35个代表团的3000余名运动员齐聚于此，共赴冰雪之约。
夜色下的内蒙古冰上运动训练中心灯火璀璨。体育馆内，开幕式的舞美采用天地同圆的设计，将速度滑冰馆的冰上赛道极具创意地与科技融为一体，构建起超视距舞台观演效果和沉浸式表演空间，凸显冰雪运动的速度与激情，配合“草原绿、冰雪白、科技蓝、中国红”的视觉基调，打造了一个全景化、沉浸式舞台空间。
在简短的运动员入场式等环节后，一场以“燃情冰雪 筑梦北疆”为主题的文艺展演呈现在观众面前。
“十四冬”开幕式展演不追求宏大和奢华，主打简约、精致、有内涵。数字技术结合AR虚拟视效，为整台文体展演营造了更广阔、更多变、更惊艳的呈现空间。主要来自内蒙古艺术剧院、全区各地乌兰牧骑的演员们，通过歌舞等艺术形式，将内蒙古大地的豪情、豪迈、豪放呈现给全国人民。
开幕式表演还深入挖掘内蒙古丰富的传统文化资源，选用多首大家耳熟能详的歌曲，融入那达慕、安代舞、马头琴等表演元素，通过时尚化的包装和潮流化的编排，在传承与创新的碰撞下展现优秀传统文化艺术的魅力与活力。从辽阔的草原到皑皑的雪原，浓郁的民族风情在这里上演。
开幕式上，“十四冬”会旗执旗手由8名来自内蒙古自治区多个行业的先进典型组成。由8名北京体育大学学生与100多名演员共同朗诵的《中华体育精神颂》，呈现出新时代中华体育精神的新风貌，展现了冰雪运动蓬勃的生命力。
最后的火炬点燃仪式掀起了开幕式的高潮。这是一次虚实结合的点火--冬奥会冠军武大靖接过火炬，插入“十四冬”会徽，两股分别以龙和马为造型的巨大火焰，直奔室外的主火炬塔。龙马精神，一飞冲天，“十四冬”火炬熊熊燃起。整个环节融合体育元素和AR技术，采用虚实结合的方式，跨越室内外场地点燃火炬塔，点燃冰雪激情。
