This piece sums up HC’s 800 years of yearning and chasing after his beloved someone, and against all odds. The lyrics were really on point and the melody is majestic enough - i cannot emphasise enough how this piece encapsulates both the rock and chinese elements well. The singer’s vocal range is quite wide and his explosiveness at the chorus implied the many emotions and passion the characters have amist the tribulations. Love how 大白老师 is always so good at creating amazing music.
Anyway, im back from hiatus, but to be away until I can find the drive to arrange other pieces. Im currently busy with a little one who came to us recently. This piece was originally arranged shortly after E3 or 4 came, but my LO came even faster before i could record.
