There was something nostalgic about the ending credits. The music and visuals feels like something out of a dream I love it. It's one of my favourite ed's now
Gosh damn, this man is truly a genius. My controversial take is that I think he's the best Final Fantasy composer, just the way he mixes analog instruments and electronic sounds to make their songs so fairy like 🥰
Huge nobuo fan...but later on I realized a lot of the songs I praised him for in FFX were actually by masashi hamauzu. Which were the songs I felt brought deepest sense of spira's atmosphere. Almost as if masashi could perfectly imagine himself in that world and wrote music inspired by living there.
Every time when I see the chair it reminds me that even after years the nameless boy is just sitting there, completely alone, rotting away But known to none except Fushi
This is what should be the meaning of all knowledge in our universe, it tells the story of the Big Bang, the Microscopic Specks that we’re first living things on earth, all the things we as a person and other species have fought in this concept just goes to show how beautifully the composers artistic intention was.
Yep. 2021 best anime should be like.. 1. Shingeki no Kyojin 2. To Your Eternity 3. Ousama Ranking Not that dressup anime thing and also not kimetsu no yaiba
Even the damn ending track brings me to tears. Just that feeling of watching immeasurable time pass as everything you know fades under the eye of an impassive universe that loves you not Also the violins were devastating
I love that and then he goes to heaven. But what’s sad the “family” isn’t there since the people who are real are actually in colour aka joaan and nameless boy so he doesn’t get to see his friends/family again suggesting that they did get to paradise which could mean that they were those people with March since time passed between nameless boy and the travelers (about 10 year)
This music just hits you in a different way😢😢. The melody🎶🎶 and the instruments🎹🎻🎷. I really wanna get the hard copy manga to show to my friends of what a masterpiece this is😍😍
i only just watched this anime i was crying so much but i couldn't just stop watching not when ive gone so far in everytime i see the drawring the nameless boy drew and his chair i cry so much this anime is way up there with clannad for me.
Es impresionante como este tema sin letra llega a tocar mi corazón. El sentimiento de incertidumbre, soledad, compañía, pérdida, duelo, paz, todo ello.❤ No sé si soy la única a la que le pasa :"
Was always wondering why this piece of music was so good. Now I know why... legendary composer. To everyone else commenting, I urge you to check out Masashi Hamauzu. He composed for works such as Saga Frontier 2 (feldschlacht is sooo good) and Final Fantasy 13's soundtrack.
When listening to this ending, it always reminded me of ffxiii ost and in particular blinded by light. Now that I know that Hamauzu made the ending, it makes sense ! I didn't know that he makes anime ending too, that's cool.
It's been more than a year since this anime came out by the time i'm writing this... I just started watching it and let me tell you this... This is one of the few anime that i cannot watch full series in one day because i need time to digested what i just witnessed every arc i've watched... To your eternity is the anime that packs so many emotional in a span of each episode... Happy, sad, hopeful, depression, trustful, betrayal, etc... It got everything and it's really hard to watch it all... And this ED is perfect for the show, it will changes depend on the mood/emotion you're lingering after watching each ep, like a stabilizer for your emotional. Ngl but every episode, i felt like i'm watching a movie level quality because it have too many things to process and it actually longer than other average animes out there... It's really rare for me to praise a show because i'm actually a very picky person when it comes to TV shows/movies.
You could try listening to Hamauzu's works on Sony Alpha Clock, i.e. the pieces he wrote for the Rhaetian Railway, Machu Picchu, the Plitvice Lakes, the Cologne Cathedral and so on. Those are perfect examples of Hamauzu's signature strings writing.
