豬哥,coupon個意義唔止淨係cover支出,if anything u use IB, cash inflow會cover左你既cash balance, 如果你借margin, 佢會變成reinvestment yield at margin interest rate IB charges, 如果你係唔借margin, 佢會變成reinvestment yield at cash interest rate u receive. And there are much more on cash px high low in terms of mark to market resilience
if you did remember when you recommend to invest gold ($2000 level), i did reply to you that it is not always the investment - gold. Now $1660. Today US Gov warns US citizens to leave Russia immediately. US Treasuries are crazy buying again > push yield going down (10Y Notes may be below 4% coming month).
Hello 阿豬你好! 多謝晒你既分享, 睇完條片之後我都即刻係IB 試下買 US-T Bill, 諗住買 10K USD 試下, 用當下ask price買, 但當買既時候佢唔FILL我既order, 寫 Your order will not trade at the NBBO because it does not meet the minimum size requirement, please make the price more aggressive or increase the size. 我相信係因為我meet唔到人地既minimum ask size, 請問下我有冇方法係IB 睇到某隻bond 人地既ask size係幾多? Thanks in advance!
@@AhJu So "Fed can print unlimited money" is not a good reason why US Treasuries do not have default risk -- every sovereign debt denominated in that country's currency does not have default risk!
@@js85 CDIC - Canadian Deposit Insurance Corporation which is owned by The Government of Canada - $100000 CAD per account type i.e. Saving $100K, Cheqing $100K, TFSA $100K, etc... then you can spread your GIC in the big 6 in Canada. much much safer than US bond. Bond value can go down don't forget.
@@stevenching4365 my understanding is GIC also have fixed maturity. For example, you need to keep it for 1 year. is that correct? and if you take it out before the one year is up, there is penalty. If that is the case, how is it different from buying a US bond that expires in one year and you hold it till maturity (so the price fluctuation doesn't matter)? Either way, you are guaranteed to receive the face value. The difference is one is backed by US government, the other by Canadian gov.
US bond 1 year bond yield 4.034%? better than 4.6%? or you are planning to hold 10 years.... and don't cry when USD drop fast next year, the range it fluctuates is much wider than CAD. and it depends on where you live.
@@js85 Show me where you can find 4.5% yield 1 year US Bond today, lmao :) I saw 3.637% only....so I guess you prefer 1% less yield and yea you are right it's gauranteed by the US gov...like big deal.
