It has sad ending but actually it is so good, awesome story and doesn't make me bored at all. Yknow, a good ending doesn't always makes you impressed, and this story is masterpiece. I just wanna say, What a beautiful tragedy

I use to say that I'm in love with happy ending but this year i found my self very Attached to sad endings because there's such a great chemistry between actors , such a wonderful skill especially ashes of love i definitely can't move on this serial .it's on the top of my serials list Just mind-blowing .it's my first time when i see a story full of laughs and tears in the same time but just love it ,same to king's women and eternal love of dream when they was in the mortal realm omg i was broken that time . F Widjanarko because if he showed his true feelings the evil people he was trying to handle would use her against him. She was his only weakness! Thats why only after everyone was taken down, the first thing he did was run to her and tell her he was happy that he could be himself at last. I just wish he would have told her at least so she could understand because she felt so alone and sad. If she knew the truth maybe things would have turned out differently.

My tears rolled down for him, and I can't blame her for doing that since I also can totally understand her feelings. No actors can potray this Role better than him. I mean, yes others king or prince's are handsome. But the way he talk,his looks and just the way he walk is good. Some are too skinny. Ok, i said all this b'cos i just love him

It’s my favourite C-Drama till date. There was not a moment where I felt bored! To all those wondering please please watch it it’s one of the best dramas out there. The ML&FL have done such amazing jobs and the FL is one of the prettiest girls I have ever seen. If I could I would give it a 11/10.
what she couldn't forgive him for was not killing her grandfather but lying to her and betraying her trust in him because he USED her to kill he grandfather. if he killed her grandfather in the battle field, as was supposed to be, then she would have forgiven him eventually. she would have understood that it's between two countries and he didn't men to hurt her. after all she did forgive him and even fell for him again when she thought her grandfather was killed in the war by his hands. but with what he did, she felt that she eventually caused the demise of her grandfather and danchi. now THAT is truly unforgivable. however i do pity LCY. no matter what he truly deeply loved her just like she loved him. they are the innocent victims of politics

He played this character very well. I loved the way he transitions from this sweet prince who loved his elder brother to this vicious revengeful crown prince. And the princess - what a sad life. You cannot even hate the guy who killed your family. I guess that was what life was those days.

All of actors in this drama acting so real. I watched many drama from korea to china (korea: jewel in palace, when the devil calls your name) and (china : CJ7, this is goodbye my princess so heartbreaking) Don't need handsome or pretty i just need to see how perfect their acting. Bravo👏👏👏😀
A perfect movie. too brilliant. from the main actor to the supporting actors and the lyrics The content is too deep through each line. Leaving viewers disappointed, regretful sympathy with the tragic fate of each character in the film. Shame on the fate of LTN.TP.CK. I personally watched it for the 3rd time and still had the same feeling. So sad Whoever watches this movie can't guarantee it forever. Kudos to the author Phi Nga Tu Ton
I have watched quite a few since then and I have to say it is still the best. I think it is the director who made GMP so great because the whole series is just perfect... everything from the whole cast and their acting, the sceneries, the sets and cinematography, the plot (even the adaptions they make to the novel) and the script, to the OST. Some of the other Chinese drama series were good, but this is just another level for me. The only one that came close for me is Till the End of the Moon. For TTEOTM, I find the FL and ML were fantastic but I won't say the whole cast was as great as GMP. The special effects were fantastic in these drama series though which is what you want for Xianxia drama.
you said everything i think about GMP... it was the first time that i loved nearly the entire cast. don't forget the costumes. it was said by someone working with the director (might be one of the writers for the drama) that the director was like someone with a maiden's heart when it came to what he wanted in the production. and that one scene had to be revised/rewritten many times as the director was very specific about the outcome. i heard that the director was rumored to be working on another drama along with peng xiaoran as a main role a few years ago, "ban ri cang sang ban ri mei ren". however, there hasn't been much continued news about it recently...
I started watching it and when I read the comments, I pause. Looked for another drama. I hate watching sad ending I can't move on. Its enough for me to watch Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo sad ending, I dont want to hurt my self anymore. 😟😭💔

I know its not a happy ending , but dang. I keep crying and still watching. how i wished they ended up together.as the title suggests Goodbye , my Princess it gives off a negative vibe already.im so sad fate played some tricks, it's his brother fault he had the crown prince killed and blamed it to the Princess grandfather.so many evil forces in the palace in order to protect the Princess he has to pretend he doesn't care , his revenge stood in the way too.They had two chances already still they fall in love again. And in the end , the Prince lead a lonely, miserable and delusional life.
I just finished watching this on Netflix and this was just heartbreaking, the characters sufferd so much why can't the writter give us a happy ending. Arrggh!!! now I have to go ahead and re watch Princess Agents para sulit na sulit ang sakit at lungkot. Kaasar ayoko ng manuod ng historical drama.
