【予習で安心！】マニラ空港乗継ガイド！
（2023年、第一ターミナル版）
2023年6月から、フィリピン航空が利用するマニラ国際空港（ニノイアキノ空港）のターミナルが、第一ターミナルへ変更されました。
ハリネズミは、この新しく使用が移転されたターミナルでの乗り継ぎを体験してみました。
このターミナルビルは、少しだけリノベーションされているものの、国際空港施設としては古く手狭で、乗客で溢れかえっていました。
特に課題なのは乗継客用のセキュリティチェックで、検査機器が1組しかないので、ハリネズミが訪れた際は1時間20分を要しました。
通過する頃には、列の長さが2倍に伸びていたので、おそらくその時に到着した乗客は2時間以上列に並ぶ必要があったことでしょう。
また、ガイドスタッフが一部の乗客から賄賂の小銭を受け取り、セキュリティの行列をスキップさせている様子も見られました。
出発フロア乗り継ぎ3階に到着したあとも、充電ステーションが混雑していたり、仮眠室が極めてシンプルであるなど、改善ポイントが多く見られました。
なお、フリーWi-Fiや給水機は設置されています。

Starting June 2023, the terminal at Manila International Airport (Ninoy Aquino Airport) used by Philippine Airlines has been moved to Terminal 1.
Hedgehog experienced a transfer in this newly relocated terminal.
Although this terminal building has been slightly renovated, it is old and small for an international airport facility, and was overcrowded with passengers.
A particular challenge was the security check for transfer passengers, which took 1 hour and 20 minutes when Hedgehog visited because there is only one set of scanning equipment.
By the time passing through, the line had been doubled in length, so passengers arriving at that time would probably have had to wait in the queue for more than 2 hours.
I also observed guiding staff accepting small money in bribes from some passengers to allow them to skip the security queue.
Even after arriving on the 3rd floor for the departure floor connection, there were many areas for improvement, such as crowded charging stations and extremely simple napping rooms.
Please be advised that free Wi-Fi and water dispenser are available.

ちょうど先日、成田発マニラ経由バリ島行きのフィリピン航空を往復共利用してきました。荷物は往復共、スルーチェックインで、成田→バリ島、バリ島→成田まで運ばれます。途中のマニラでは何も心配する必要はありません。もし手荷物がある方は、マニラに着いたら、そのまま動画の0:58～の手荷物検査へ向かい、それが完了したら指定のバリ島行き(成田行き)のゲートへ向かうだけです。(往復同じ) 全てTerminal 1で行うので楽チンです。

0:46 I want to go KLIA Aerotrain around July 2008, 31st March to 6th April 2011 and last 31st December 2018 to 5th January 2019. However klia aerotrain was temporarily closed because the replacement works since 1st March 2023.

The old Aerotrain connecting KLIA's main terminal to the satellites was indeed very bumpy and rocking. So, I can't wait to see the new shuttle system in the future, which will run smoother and be more comfortable.

第一ターミナルには各階ごとにエレベーターがあります。トイレを探してみてくださいその横にエレベーターがあります。

エレベーターは、トランジット客用のセキュリティチェックから少し離れたところにあるので、おそらくスタッフに依頼する必要があると思います。そのため、通常の乗客は階段を使うしかない雰囲気でした。

Since I was connecting from a Philippine Airlines international flight to another international flight, I did not need to pick up my check-in luggage.

日本からマニラまでフィリピン航空で行き、そこから国内線はLCC、という乗り継ぎで、T1からT3に移動するのですが、乗り継ぐ航空会社が別会社でもターミナル移動で無料のシャトルバスは使えますでしょうか？

@@fhin8121 コメントありがとうございます。ターミナル連絡バスは、乗り継ぎ便がある乗客であれば利用できますので、航空会社が違っていても大丈夫です。ただし、乗り継ぎの証明が必要なので、確実を期すため「到着フライトの搭乗券を見せられるようにとっておく」ことと「できれば次フライトのオンラインチェックインを済ませて搭乗券をあらかじめ得ておく」と良いと思います。もちろん、T3に移動してからチェックインを行うこともありうるので、そういう場合には、予約確認書などを見せる感じになると思いますが、どのような範囲の書類まで認めてもらえるかは、正直あまり確かではないです。（基本的には、柔軟に対応してくれると信じていますが…）どうぞ素敵なご旅行を！

Hi sir. my next flight with Philippines Airlines will transit at NAIA airport too. they rescheduled our return flight at Manila to KL so transit is 1hour 5min. do you think it's enough time for security check?

As far as I experienced, the transit security checks gave priority to passengers with earlier departure times. The terminal is not that huge, so when I was given priority due to the short construction time, it took only about 20 minutes from the time I disembarked from my arriving flight to the time I boarded my connecting flight.

How to ask security officer to give you priority? By showing your boarding pass? I will do short time (1 hour) transit too at NAIA terminal 1 (from Philippine airlines to philippine airlines, both international flights) so i feel worry, please help me, thank you🙏🏼

@@JamesBrooke206 i think before the que for security check, ask airport personnel about your connection flight. they will help. plus PAL worker will help passenger with connecting flight on fast lane.

Agreed, the flight experience itself is great, but it's a shame that the transit issues due to the old airport facilities and frequent delays due to lack of runways/ spots are hurting the reputation of Philippine Airlines.

Would you get to skip the queue if you are catching the next flight right away?

Yes, passengers whose flights are close to departure time will be given priority to go through the security check, so no worries. (Also, I saw a passenger who skipped the line by giving small tips to service staff with numbers printed on the back.)

@@nabepon the tips part surprised me. I have a flight with them later this month and the transit time is about 2 hours after they changed the original flight which was 3 hours and a bit. Haven’t fly with them nor been in NAIA before. Hope will be a smooth one.

コメントありがとうございます。フィリピン航空国際線のマニラでの乗り継ぎ時間が24時間以内で、チケットも全区間一括で発券されていれば、出発地でのチェックイン時に2区間分の搭乗券が出されますので、預け入れ荷物もスルーされます。なお、現地の様子を見ていると、乗り継ぎ客の預け入れ荷物は、マニラで非空調の空間に長時間放置されているようですので、傷みやすい食品などは入れない方が良いと思います。
