You guys sure know how to amuse yourself while driving and have fun so the journey won't be boring ! Jay really want you to try the delicacy of Chinese cuisines especially the " The Buddha Jumps Over The Wall " . Those ingredients used are expensive but it has a lot of goodness and nutritional value to our body . Next time ask for a spoon when eating the round shape dumplings , so as to hold the dumpling , punch a hole and seep the soup / gravy in it . ( That's the soul of it ) ! Ari likes taro , next time Jay should try braised pork with taro ( 芋头扣肉 ) 。( I reckoned Ari and family will love it )

Jay should try some marketing technique when introducing new dish to Ari: first, set the right level of expectation, then paint a "delicious picture" of the dish with background stories. Take the abalone for example. It is always regarded as an expensive ingredient in Chinese cuisine. People around the world love it so much that the large wild abalones were almost wiped out. These days abalone are farmed. It is chewy like large clams, but when properly cooked very tender and not tough. It's the umami of abalone that's tantalizing.

小籠包破洞滴下湯汁好可惜,應該拿湯匙把小籠包放在上面,挖個洞讓湯汁流到湯匙,就可以完整享受到湯汁,放上沾有醋的薑絲,一口吞下小籠包一定更美味.

It's super expensive, and most restaurants require a 24 hour advance booking because it need to simmer overnight. In China, goto Fujian province for an authentic one. In particular, Zhangzhou city area

Welcome to Atlanta. I saw you guys visited the old China town.

The buddha dish is originaed from Fuzhou where my hometown is. When we host our western guests with this dish, they always say it has a strong flavor. Actually, this buddha dish is well known and welcomed by the local people. Anyway, it takes courage to try different food. Normally, we don't accept and like different flavor food at once. For some strong taste food, it takes time to get used to its flavor.

The animals' sounds are really make me laugh! So funny!

最後一道比較像海鮮盅，彿跳牆一般有芋頭．排骨．鳥蛋．豬肚等食材

when cooked properly for hours, the soup's thick texture from the fish maw releasing its collagen and that's Ari's first bite, a soft sticky jelly like texture.... that's good for your skin....

Lived in Atlanta for 5 years. I always took friends to Good Harvest (their signature 2/3 choices dry pots are very good) or Royal China (recommend their Peking duck for 3 dishes) when they visited.

Duluth 的 North Berkeley Lake Rd 上的大荣华（Taste of China) 也不错， Johns Creek 有成都人开的老四川。这里也有超级多的韩国店和越南店，韩国人是洛杉矶，芝加哥以外最多的城市。早茶不要去吃金冠酒楼，从中国城搬到Duluth的Costco边上后价钱又贵又不好吃。东云阁的早茶还行，但肠粉太厚。

第二家的菜，看起来就很authentic

Your expensive soup is Buddha Jump over the wall. Normally ingredients like fish maw, sea cucumber, abalone, bird nest, mushroom and etc..Ari haven't eaten this before and that's why she find it weird. But is Chinese one of the most popular food.
