La Vie En Rose would always remain a song that CLC and Cheshire regrettably missed out in its cancelled comback. The implication went further when CLC also lost its music composer - Mospick. CLC could have another Black Dress era if he didn't leave.
@@piscessaga It's because Cube gave little or no oversea promotions to CLC like Dreamcatcher company did. It even sabotaged CLC success by rejecting event invitation from USA specifically requesting for CLC. In the end, Cube sent (G)-idle. Without promotions, CLC still manage to be popular in USA, outside of 4 big Korean entertainment companies with a number of Billboard rankings. If Cube did proper promotions, CLC could have even rival Blackpink. CLC could be profitable in album sales and concerts in USA. In Korea, CLC was No. 1 in commercial activities and events even when (G)-idle was on the rise and overshadowed CLC in 2018/9 until Covid-19. Cube abandoned CLC when it was no longer profitable.
12/1/24 ( Friday ) 10.44 am. I didn't know that CLC song "Eighteen" was originally going to give to APINK. However, this song didn't make a splash. The more well known controversy was "La Vie En Rose". DenQ was wrong to say that Cube "misjudged". The comeback song of CLC was sold to IZONE even though CLC had finished the recording ! The composer - Mospick, I think also left Cube. I wondered what would CLC be like if its comeback was not cancelled, and "La Vie En Rose" was sang by the group and the composer continue to make music for CLC. Perhaps another Black Dress era ?
