2023年（令和5年）12月22日（金）に島田市民総合施設プラザおおるりで開催された「令和5年度静岡県高等学校総合文化祭郷土芸能部門第28回文化祭」（県大会）で演奏した「合戦」です。
浜松修学舎高校には、夢みらい科、看護科、ビジネス科、福祉科があり、大学入試や就職、看護師や介護福祉士などの、それぞれの進路に向けて努力しています。郷土芸能部は創部24年目を迎え、卒業生による和太鼓集団「和音」の先輩方と、毎日練習に励んでいます。
今回演奏する曲は「合戦(がっせん)」です。この曲は卒業生が作曲してくださった曲で、浜松市でおこった「三方ヶ原の戦い」と「遠州大念仏」を題材にしています。命を懸けた戦いの激しさ、突然命を奪われる悲しさや、平和への祈りを、和太鼓で表現できるよう、練習を重ねてきました。激しい戦いを生き残った仲間たちが、明日へ向けて仲間を鼓舞し、勇気を出して次の合戦に挑む姿を、皆様に伝えられたら幸いです。
This is a performance of "Gassen" from the 28th Cultural Festival of the Shizuoka Prefecture High School Arts Festival 2023 (prefectural competition), held on December 22, 2023, at the Shimada Shimada Civic General Facility Plaza Ohruri.
Hamamatsu Shugakusha High School offers the Yume Mirai, Nursing, Business, and Welfare Departments, and students are working hard to prepare for university entrance exams, employment, and careers as nurses and care workers. Japanese drum club, now in its 24th year of existence, practices daily with the senior members of "Waon," a taiko drum group made up of graduates of the school.
The piece we will be performing is "Gassen". This piece was composed by a graduate and is based on the "Battle of Mikagahara" and "Enshu Dainenbutsu" that took place in Hamamatsu City. We have been practicing to express the intensity of the battle, the sadness at the sudden loss of life, and the prayer for peace through taiko drumming. We hope to convey to you the image of friends who survived the fierce battle, inspiring their comrades for tomorrow, and courageously taking on the next battle.
