I have been visited Penang in 2015. The wall prints are really interesting and cultural. The contonese and fujianese foods are fantastic. Even now, I can't find the unforgettable taste in my region. Greeting from Macau.
Saya dari indonesia, menurut saya malaysia negara paling ideal dari seluruh dunia. Sangat multi etnis, dan saya mau belajar bahasa mandarin di malaysia. Negara malaysia paling complete.
Thanks for making this video, which brings back my memories of the previous trips in Penang over years. Indeed, I have been to these姓氏橋. I like Penang and the whole Malaysia very much. Do enjoy your SE Asian trip.
I'm Chinese ( Teochew) born at Medan Indonesia, ever stay 1,5 years at Penang. Hokkian language is almost same at Penang or Medan. I can hear Kantonese and speak Mandarin ,so it is easy to understand the all conversation at this video.
Since I love to watch cdrama rather than malay drama and giggling over tamil movies and having friends from ethnic chinese, malay & indian..I'm proud of being malaysian. I love you guys my Malaysian family
Great video that showceses the linguistic diversity in Penang. You can go to George Town, speak Cantonese, Hokkien, Mandarin to people in their twenties, they know it all!
I still remember my experienced when I visit China...similar same like me discover China at that time. I also can speak little bit Mandarin and very good interaction with local hawker and seller.
Welcome come to Malaysia, Torres. Have you plan to visit Malacca? We will get to eat the best Baba Nyonya (峇峇娘惹) food around the state...Perhaps, you may also try out baba nyonya food in Penang.
Here are Cantonese and Hokkien vocabulary that are tested on this video. 3:52 食力(福建話(用臺羅標音:tsia̍h-la̍t)=糟糕了=screw up 6:05 馬打寮(馬來西亞廣府話:maa5 daa1 liu2)=警察局=police station 6:36 頭毛聳聳,袋仔空空(福建話(用臺羅標音):thâu-moo tshàng-tshàng, tē-á khang-khang)=邋遢=sloppy 7:23 開火(馬來西亞廣府話:hoi1 fo2)=開燈=turn on the light 7:53 鹹澀(福建話(用臺羅標音):kiâm-siap)=吝嗇=stingy
Mandarin doesn't necessarily represent Chinese or Han language(s). Chinese or Han language(s) can also refer to Cantonese, Hokkien, Hakka, Teochew, Hokchew, etc. These languages can be written in Chinese characters. Just a simple logic, these languages are not written in Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese words. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Kr-mkdCSPYQ.html
