Mun Chong , One eight eight hawker center , Pasir Pinji’s Big tree ‘Yeong Liew’, Ipoh Mataliew ( apprentice ) curry mee, GSSHF @ PasirPinji , best 70’s old taste Char Keow Teow to Michelle’s Noodle house - all heavenly tasty food that Elmo brought to his audience. Kudos 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. Can’t help but to support Mun Chong’s dry fried prawns 🍤 as this is one of the best and must order there. Yatt Lau ! Mou Tak Deng ! A great food haunting episode at Pasir Pinji - Ipoh. Don’t forget the Chee Cheong Fun ( With Tim Cheong and pak Yau Yeow ) Elmo - when you are there another time. 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
I like Ipoh more than any other cities in Malaysia. Not only it's widely considered a foodie paradise for many, but also more livable as well - slower pace of life; vintage buildings of the colonial times are aplenty; Chinese dialects which I am more well versed with, ie Cantonese and Hakka; closer vicinity from one point to another; daily necessities can be easily found without traveling too far away from home, if you are not too finicky about brand names. Simply because it's the closest big city to my home town ( Ipoh not even gained its city status yet during those days but big and happening enough for a hillbilly as I was)that I used to travel to during my childhood, so as now since moving back from KL. The only complaint that I have is many street names I am so familiar with are mostly had changed now - only the simpletons and cowards dare not facing the past!
Good to see you're back Bro in Malaysia. TBH I'm not a fan of your China and Thailand videos. I prefer your videos within Malaysia, but that's me 🤷♂️ As usual you've done an amazing job of researching the places you visited and the stall owners background, top marks 👍 Pasir Pinji, that's my wife's hometown. Visited that place many years ago when her grandma was still alive. 9:00 Wan Tun Mee, I've never seen it spelt like that before 😂
Ipoh ... love it ! I remember Mun Choong restaurant because my granparents used to live behind that shop. Anyway i totally agreed with u on some of the names changes for the roads.. totally no sense at all. They are just trying to remove historical facts . Thank you for sharing .. now more places for me to enjoy whenever i go back to ipoh !
