I felt trauma, deep trauma in contemporary Chinese literati, not the literati during revolution, but the conscientious people during the past two decades. I considered my late mother was one of them. Being a person with integrity has to pay a big price in China. The government does not want individual integrity. But it forgot in the eternal time and space, everyone is judged against the universal rules of what is goodness and evil. And everyone is labelled and re-labeled in the river of time . Some will be remembered and cherished while others will be cursed and casted aside.
