I am planning to opt for Stream A and here is my situation. I plan to arrive Canada in Jan 2024 to study a 2-year Diploma with target to graduate in December 2025 or Jan 2026. By the time of Jan 2024, I will be 49. Once I have confirmation and documentation of graduation then I will apply PR before 31 Aug 2026. I will go with my spouse and two children under 18. May I ask: Question 1: Is my plan fit the Stream A requirements if everything go as I described. Question 2: Is my family and age background an obstacle to get a study permit? Is there any successful case like mind? Question 3: Are my kids able to study government aided schools without paying international fee? Many thanks for your help. Wish you all the best.

I completed a master in HK during 2020 and WES was done, I planned to come Canada via the stream A (3) by completing a graduate or post-graduate certificate. However, I am not sure about that the course I planning to apply could be classified as graduate or post-graduate or not, as it only named as "certificate in xxx" but still requested the applicant having social work degree before.
Spouse and parents are allowed to come to Canada as visitors when covid wasn’t hitting. Spouse can also apply for open work permit also during your study.

Schools that we work with only accept IELTS academic. For 2, I am not sure what you mean, transcript verification would usually not be needed for study permit application
Hi thank you for your sharing I have a question regarding stream A3 Is a “post graduate diploma” consider as a “post-secondary degree or diploma”? If I study a 1 yr post graduate diploma in HK starting sept 2021, can I use this as prerequisite to apply for a post graduate diploma in Canada starting sept 2022 to fulfill IRCC requirement stated below: “A graduate or post-graduate diploma, certificate or credential for completion of a program that is at least 1 year in length. To be eligible, that program must require the completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma as a prerequisite for acceptance into the program and the post-secondary degree or diploma must have been obtained no more than 5 years before the commencement of the graduate or post-graduate program” Thank you very much
Hi, I am holding a Master Degree on healthcare management granted by Oxford Brookes of UK in Sept 2017 through distance learning and would like to study a post-graduate diploma in project management related to health care. Am I qualified and is it necessary to take English exams like IELTS?
