The only thing I’m surprised by is the wooden floor - not even a throw carpet. I guess he’s added so much acoustic attenuation to the ceiling and walls that the bare wood floor is keeping the music lively.
Damn 😀👍 Make sure to thank the owner for sharing this with us. The level of attention to detail is amazing. - And again thanks for the detailed overview. I love these ‘behind the scenes’ approach.
@@bikemike1118 I think that it is a fan with a little compressor, a fan that has no propeller but injectes cool air through a slot in the circumference. Such installation deserves something more than a cheap fan😉
@@salvadorrodenas3071 thanks… yeah, sure. He should better have bought an amp stand. This would even improve the sound of the Mephisto… I personally would have done things a bit differently. But everybody to his tastes.
Snake oil 101: spot the bullshit. Let's raise the speaker cables off the ground to convince ourselves that the system will sound better because, ahem, the electrons do weird things while violating the laws of physics. LOL
Congratulations : that is by far the largest collection of BS accessories I've ever seen... and I've worked for the military industrial complex so that's saying something. Particularly impressed by the cable hoses behind the speakers. For my personal amusement, can someone tell me what they are supposed to achieve and how it's supposed to improve sound quality ? Don't bother with the price, I already know.
Seriously, they make the owner feel as if they are leaving no stone unturned in their pursuit of the maximum performance their gear offers. I don't think it makes any difference but then again, I don't care what someone else does with their own money.
Yes, not to mention the quality of recording being sampled. I think it's about 60% high quality recordings, and 40% high quality speakers & other components - Because no matter how great your sound system is, it's gonna sound like shit if you play low quality recordings on it. How about we sample some old 67 RMP mono recordings? LOL Seems like it would take 100 discs to listen to just one of the over-bloated operas by Ricard Wagner.
@@bikemike1118 - Room acoustics, YES, for sure! And also the proper placement of speakers within your acoustical space. But there are plenty of other things which don't matter one little bit, such as which sort of cables you use between your amplifier and your speakers. Any real electrical engineer can tell you that. Too much fairy dust bullshit in the audiophile arena. As soon as people get out of their Jr. high school mentality, it all begins to finally be logical. It also helps if you have a tiny bit more amplifier power than you need, rather than always be coming up short on power, which can be a bit damaging to your speakers. But otherwise, there's WAY too much fairy dust bullshit among audiophiles. Having as flat a frequency response as possible in your speakers is also nice. It might not matter much if you listen to pop music, but a jagged frequency response can be more noticeable with classical music. Oh yes, and I of course agree that it all begins with a very high quality recording. You can't turn a shitty original into a gold plated miracle. And except for the very youngest of listeners, topping out at around 18.000 hertz, or even less, is seriously as wide a frequency response as you need. All the rest of us eventually start to go a tiny bit deaf in some frequencies. I for one happen to appreciate a big deep full bass, although not a bone jarring bass, but good enough to make the opening bars of Stravinsky's Firebird Suite as realistic as possible. Between 20 and 40 hertz typically does the trick. And anyone who can go down to less than just 20 hertz with their speakers is very fortunate indeed for the music which actually requires it. My speakers can barely manage it, and they weren't even terribly expensive, although I do happen to have a much more expensive vintage set in storage which can't be used at the current time. BUT ABOVE ALL ELSE is a very high quality recording. All the rest is quite seriously only secondary in nature. If you watch an ancient episode of the Three Scrooges on TV, do you really think it matters how expensive your speakers are? Nah.
Could be he couldn’t find a one seater wide enough, yet small enough. I had a similar problem when installing home theater chairs. Had to go with a small loveseat (2 seater) so both my wife and i could sit together, but when she’s not there, i sit in the middle. Not ideal, but it works ;)
*❌✅ I walk the walk and talk the talk 👈😎‼️ it’s his system So who cares he likes it and so do I , but mine is completely different // and to answer the Snake 🐍 Oil question // first I Build Amplifiers From scratch So here’s your answer to do cables sound different in short , YES they can , by how much depending on design , a lot . Keep in mind it is coloring the sound , kinda like two same gauge wires of same length will sound deferent to each other if one ☝️🧐 is configured into a coil making it an air choke thus Sounds different 👋😉 ‼️( Nuff Said ) on this topic//Audiophiles are welcome to use this analogy whenever Wee’Todds Start Talking B.S. 👋💩 but continue to just enjoy 😉 what you like* 😎👍❌ _The ((Haters)) just got Served_ ❌
Человеку пришлось испортить под чтобы вынести оттуда провод и пустить его над уровнем пола а не по полу ,наверное если бы он пустил провода по полу то музыка бы не звучала.
Sadly the CCP is on the march to destroy the whole free world, too bad most people are too ignorant to have an understanding of basic history. And that most every company, politician. sports star & actor all have their price for selling their souls. In the end the alligators will turn on them when they run out of us regular people,
@@quantumdecoherence1289 not this age old „discussion“ again! You only tell the world here that your own system (if you really have one except of your IPhone) is just very, very mediocre and/ or you simply have no clue! Or you’re an absolute beginner …with too big of a mouth here in the internet. I guess you’re a 15 year old school boy who currently has too much time…because of COVID-19! So simply shut up, no one is interested in your stupidity 🤪
