A very beautiful song by our golden voice Zhou Hsuan. Her voice is clear with a sweet tone It's really a misfortune that she died at an early age of 39. But her songs are still popular
I found many of Zhou Xuan's movies were very sad. Perhaps not the best profession choice due to her delicate mental state. Despite her professional successes as an actress and singer, her personal life did not meet her expectations. This led to her mental breakdown and short life. That may be why you are sadden by her songs.
I knew this singer name when i was child from my mom. But when i listen her song make me cry & rememer my parents especially my mom. They have been away now.
Lovely voice Sonny with so many songs! I came across her beautiful voice by chance. Can you tell me how I should pronounce Zhou Xuan. The nearest I can think is 'Suzanne'.
@@donpiears Hello Don! Thank you for your message! Yes, she was such a sweet and sensitive lady and that certainly manifests itself in her songs. For a grown man, now at 67 come February, to get teary eyed in just a few seconds,, it speaks for itself,, loveliness par excellence'~!~ The pronunciation of Zhou is: made by pronouncing ~Zh~ adding ~slightly~ a "D" sound in front of the zh! Spelling that like this: ~DZh~ Sort of like saying~ ~Dizzy~ but minus the ~i~ The ~ou~ part is pronounced same as saying a capital ~O~. For example, ~DZZO~. The other part of her name is pronounced ~Shuan~ Almost like saying ~Swan~ ! Only using ~Shu~ rather than ~Swa~ . Hope you're able to understand my gibberish~!~ LOL!!!
@@vendykurnawan6808 Hello Vendy! So sorry for the tale reply to your message! I just now saw your message as I was watching this video now! Yes, I agree with you! I also cry every time I listen to these beautiful Chinese folk songs! I can not prevent my eyes from filling with tears. This is because our lives are full of memories and love for our family and friends, and also ,,,, for life itself~!~ Xie xie ni~!~
Such mellifluous voice and sweet sound, full of vibrant energy, what better way during lockdown to listen for hours on end, accompanied by her, thanks much for sharing, brings back memories 😊
It's a real shame that the soulless consume-and-dispose-hits of K-Pop, comprised of gloating and bluster as they are, are more popular than this most gentle, divine music that makes one feel connected to all of humanity.
