It's well-known by now that Joe does not like random guitar solos but to me it highlights a part of the music. Well he is a master and knows his music. This song is well performed and accompanied by an excellent orchestra. I watch this channel because of my love for music as well as my interest in Mandarin.
wow i am beginning to learn how to appreciate and understand listening to song and music.joe's comment is very truthful and fair, but regarding the guitar part is more of a personal preference
But I did like the guitar solo in the middle. It started the transition from tragedy and sorrow to a new life and hope. A separation point between the past and now. It feels like the spirit of the parents refuse to surrender, they fight with a mighty strength: they want their children to LIVE! No! They must live! The parents demanded. It carried me over the saddest part to wish for a better future.
Han Hong is not famous for creative arrangement on her songs but mainly her powerful and emotional voice, and content/story/theme of the songs. She is one of the top!
