我和那時還未認識的太太都是不約而同地在1990年來了加拿大,之後認識結婚,在加拿大為揾食走遍大江南北,知道加拿大不同地區文化分別,我們一向都是買減價超市的fresh produce 的,T&T同類食品都是比較其他超市昂貴,而且唐人超市乳類產品一般比較差,我們最後在2000年在Ottawa 置業定居,我們香港人在加拿大有名叫“艱難大”,是打不死的,只要努力和有毅力,一定成功.
Paying HST and the foods are not as fresh compared to Hong Kong. Taxes on top of taxes and if you own property it’s property taxes. Old school Canadians if they could are leaving Canada 🇨🇦 but you just went to Canada 😂
We were still stuck with the impression of Canada being the best place for retirement, having good public healthcare etc etc. Until we were here and lived here.... 😅
@@blacknpurple527 very hard to find a doctor in Canada. Do you have a doctor? If you’re lucky it takes 3-5 years or longer to have a doctor if you don’t have one now. You need to wait in emergency room at a hospital for around 10-16 hours to get treated. Hk much better medical services and you get medication included with your treatment. In Canada 🇨🇦 you need to pay $$ separately medications plus pay for prescription fee which is almost the cost of the price of a doctor in hk with medication. I honestly think you made a wrong move to Canada.
Yeap, we agree with you. We experienced all that you've shared when we are here. The image or impression that Canada portrays to people outside of Canada is very different from the actual life here. We feel it now 😅
@@blacknpurple527 don’t give up. Immigration is an economy $$$ for the Canada government. The more immigration they allow into Canada the more money on taxes they make. So they promote false hope to people who want to go to Canada. This is why it is so easy to get a Canadian passport. The Canadian passport is cheap and easy to get and of no real value compared to 10 years ago or earlier. If you’re long term sick or collect social assistance or disabled or refugee and can collect welfare always Canada is great but if you work or find employment you will pay high amount of income taxes and provincial health plan. End of day taxes are around 60-80% $$ in many forms. I know some people who work under the table and online internet to avoid crazy income high taxes. Good luck dear.
