Don't eat too spicy and street food, even we Indians don't eat that regularly, it's for special occasions. If you eat spicy ones, try balancing it with things that calm your stomach like yogurt/curd, lemon, etc.
Also, there are dishes like Idli, Uttapum, Dosa, also, if you pair rice with curries, it becomes less spicy. There's a thing called, "Thali" it serves a balanced diet with many different varieties, if you can, get that one.
