The problem is retired Westerners really don't want to move overseas and have to get accustomed to a new way of life, government, new language skills, health care system, cultural differences, etc. Seniors tend to want to age in place or be close to their children or grandchildren for the remainder of their lives so MM2H is more of a younger person's path. Arguably you can renew your Malaysian visa in perpetuity after expiration. Has Malaysia deported families who are entrenched with their social ties for decades?
@@annew.1 More and more Americans retire overseas for various reasons in recent years. Malaysia is not a top attraction for Americans, but it is considered as an English-speaking county. Malaysia's health care is ranked very high, its living cost is considerably lower, and its culture diversity is also attractive and interesting.
Good talk 👍🏼 straight forward go to the point ☝🏼 thanks 🙏🏼 make us ez understand n better than Maple leaf views 😂😂cos u brighten up sclear picture to us 😁😁
Good analysis of the new requirements. Personally I see additional requirement of the new policy is an effort to help to reduce the over supply in properties. Personally I would not consider applying MM2H even I would like to live in Malaysia (or other tropical countries) a few (winter) months a year. If I come to Malaysia every year for a few months, I would not mind to live in different states/cities/suburbs to experience the variety of Malaysia. So MM2H bundled property purchase is not my cup of tea.
I just sold my apartment unit yesterday in Johor bahru medini , not difficult at all, there is still many buyer interested. I sold to local by the way.
