This video is Part1. Todai-ji (Great Eastern Temple) is a Buddhist temple located in the city of Nara, Japan. The temple is a listed UNESCO World Heritage Site as "Historic Monuments of Ancient Nara", together with seven other sites including temples, shrines and places in the city of Nara. Deer (Shika), regarded as messengers of the gods in the Shinto religion, roam the grounds freely. Todaiji was constructed in 752 A.D. as the head temple of all provincial Buddhist temples of Japan.

Awesome video. Went to Nara in 2010 to see the Buddha on a rainy day so its nice to see it on a sunny one.

Dear Tatsuya, Two winters ago, Patrick and I, we were waiting 2 hours in silence, to see one deer !! Hi Hi !! And overthere there is so many and they are not affraid at all, WOW !! @cather333 Dear Catherine, Thank you for watching. They are wild deer and inhabited Nara for more than 1,000 years. The antlers are cut in the event called "Shika-no-Tsunokiri" once a year. There are many deer in Quebec, and they are bigger than that of Nara. I think that the deer in the great nature of Quebec are attractive just imagining about it. Take care. (^-^)

@firon6 Thanks for the comment. That big building has a double-height structure and open space up to the ceiling. There is no second floor. Please see Part2.

Dear Tatsuya, Thank you for answer me about the deer the water and the Bouddha. Here in my town, Patrick use to cross deers in the street at 5 am, when he go working. I saw them once, yes they are bigger a little. But very affraid about us. Not like yours in Japan. Hope things goes well for you and Junko. Take care too (^-^) Catherine xx ♥
