I used to flew from Taipei to Vien and rent car there to different places in Austria and then extended to other European counties , but Austria administration stopped recognized Taiwan’s international driver’s license recently, so I have to switch to Prague instead. It’s a pity for me cause I did enjoy the route to West Europe through Vienna.
Working hard to raise awareness and build support for Taiwan in Austria and all over the world, the more people know about Taiwan the more will change.... jia you!
I am not a diplomat so I can't answer the question. I have an Austrian and a Taiwanese driving license and I had to take the test in both countries as the Austrian drivers license is also no recognized here in Taiwan. :(
Yes, I knew about Taiwan as we learned at school about was then called "the four Asian tigers" and I originally studied electrical engineering and was very much into computers. This was of course way before the internet so it was much harder to learn about things. Around 1998 was when I came first time to Taiwan and it sparked my curiosity.
I have too noticed the same thing : many young people in Taiwan have no ability to do proper verbal communications with others ! They grew up with tablets & smartphones, they probably have spent more time in life on typing on mobile devices than on talking to others. This is Not a good sign for the future of Taiwan........😥😥😥😥
