宜蘭市的古蹟大多集中於原宜蘭城周遭，非常適合以徒步旅行的造訪，我們從宜蘭火車站出發，先造訪車站旁的歷史建築，然後大致沿著原宜蘭城城牆（今舊城南路、舊城西路、舊城北路、舊城東路）, 環繞一圈，造訪沿途的歷史人文古蹟。這次旅行，大約走了10公里，約5.5小時（含休息）。造訪的歷史人文遺跡及景點包括：
Most of the historical sites in Yilan City are concentrated around the original Yilan City, which is very suitable for visiting on foot. We start from Yilan Railway Station and visit the historical buildings next to the station, and then roughly follow the original Yilan City Wall (now Jiu Chengnan South Road, Jiucheng West Road, Jiucheng North Road, and Jiucheng East Road) , a circular route, visit the historical and cultural monuments along the way. This trip took about 10 kilometers and about 5.5 hours (including rest). The historical and cultural relics and attractions visited include:
台鐵宜蘭段舊辦公室、幾米廣場、幸福轉運站、中山公園、獻馘碑、忠靈塔、舊日軍通訊中心、舊宜蘭縣政府員工宿舍群、阮義忠台灣故事館、宜蘭人故事館、宜蘭五穀廟、舊宜蘭監獄門廳、台灣銀行宜蘭分行、舊宜蘭郡役所防空洞、自治丕基碑、舊宜蘭廳庶務課長官舍、宜蘭設治紀念館、化龍一村眷舍群、宜蘭酒廠、宜蘭市文昌宮、宜蘭神社神馬、宜蘭昭應宮 (媽祖廟)、慈雲禪寺、潘宅古厝、楊士芳紀念林園、碧霞宮、蘭城百工、宜蘭城隍廟、舊宜蘭公設質鋪、宜蘭戲院、丟丟噹廣場..等。
