Toyama is on the rise and a great city to explore! There is another "Golden Route" which goes from Tokyo to Kanazawa, with Toyama being the last big stop before the terminal station. The Glass Museum, the Chinese Pharmacy as well as the huge mall attached to the train station are a delight all to itself! Furthermore, the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route can be taken from the neighbouring Dentetsu-Toyama Station as well! I was staying at a nearby Hotel for 3 nights, and it was just the right amount of time spent in the city. Also, since hotels in Toyama are cheaper than those in Kanazawa, the choices for accommodation in Toyama is on the rise, especially because Kanazawa is only 20 minutes away if you take the Shinkansen. Your video of the Toyama station is, as always, of the highest quality. Great introduction to a relatively small, yet sufficiently laid out infrastructure.
