2021年5月，抽象藝術開山鼻祖康定斯基在中國的首個大型回顧展登陸上海。康定斯基的一生充滿傳奇色彩：30歲裸辭，轉行投身藝術，42歲才開辦首場個展；擁有將視覺連通音樂的「聯覺」能力；晚年愛上中國古代青銅器……這次回顧展，是西岸美術館與蓬皮杜中心合作的特展，以5個篇章，按時間順序呈現康定斯基豐富的一生。
In May, 2021, the first heavyweight exhibition of Kandinsky, the pioneer of abstract art, in China opened in Shanghai. Kandinsky had a legendary life. He resigned at the age of 30 and shifted to art. He held his first solo exhibition at 42. And as a synesthetic person, he was able to visualize colors when listening to music. What's more, he was really interested in ancient Chinese bronze ware in his late years. The exhibition, a result of the collaboration between West Bound Group and Centre Pompidou, is divided into 5 chapters and shows Kandinsky's life in chronological order.
