I don't understand. How come a woman can make a man go literally insane? Without even doing anything - A woman's physically attractive appearance, alone, is enough to make a man go literally crazy/lose touch with reality. It's not a woman's fault at all. ---- But I find it depressing. It's like a basilisk, and a rooster. I see all the men in the comments section, just crazy for a girl. I was once a victim of this phenomenon. I've since recovered, but looking back on it - and as I see other suffering from delusions, the same way that I once was; It makes me sad. It makes me sad to see that Men are so weak, in this aspect. It's like the story of Narcissus - but instead of drowning from his own reflection, we drown in our delusions, in the image of the women of our dreams. Like the story of all those men, who, overcome by greed, and decadence, died from eating too much food, or died, from being crushed by Gold. It makes me so Sad. Not all men are like this - but there are many who are. I am literally one example. In my view - even one, is too much. When will men stop seeing women as objects? When will men, stop seeing women, the way Narcissus saw his own reflection? It's like there's been a curse, applied to some of us. When will we be freed from this curse, that makes us fall into insanity? :( It makes me sad - not just for men, but for women as well. Women don't want to be seen in this way, I'm sure. But some of us, men, literally cannot control ourselves - who would choose to go insane? We only go insane, bc we lose touch of reality. None of us would want to lose our grip on reality. But the fact that we do, is at times, not in our hands... Narcissus is one very famous example. Another one is Gollum, from Lord of the Rings.
