我們要帶貓咪去瑞典嗎？| Are we bringing the cats to Sweden? 

最近看了瘋狂機長詹姆士的節目提到寵物搭飛機的會遇到的問題，看到有的動物會在飛機上冷死或熱死看了真令人還怕，詹姆士提到要運送寵物要慎選飛機型號，希望2隻寶貝能平安到達瑞典.

你們真是很好的家人，這一兩年看到臉書社團，有很多人要出國不帶貓狗一起出國的，反而說如找不到領養人就要送收容所，你們真的是很棒的人，真的把牠們當家人不離不棄。 也希望你們的影片能讓更多要移居海外的飼主，也能帶他們寵物一起走，你們是很好的典範。

從大學剛畢業追蹤查理到現在可能快十年了，還成了兩個孩子的媽媽。雖然從來沒有見過面，但看著查理要移民還真有點捨不得。祝福jonas跟查理未來無論住在哪裡都開開心心，身體健康❤

Hej！thanks for answering my question. Really happy to see you and Charlie decided to move back to Sweden. I have been to Sweden once in this August. It is a loving and also one of the most safest country I ever see. Swedish are so nice to people even though me and my friends can only speak English. The most impressive part is the fashion style in Sweden. It is so minimalism but elegant. I’m a Taiwanese and currently an uni student who studying in the uk. Hope you have a great time in Sweden and welcome back to Taiwan anytimeee!!! Enjoy the holidayssss!

We stayed only 3 weeks in Taiwan in November, Now my Asian bones are screaming at me every day. The temperature here in N Germany is not even under 0, but it is wet, wet, wet. I miss Taiwan a lot. All the best to you, Charlie and your family!

Our cat is a bit like Choubao, what we do here in Barcelona, there`re vets that can go to do home visit, so our cat is quite ok with this, because you don`t need to move them, and they feel safe at home.

我喜歡雕刻木馬的小鎮

帶寵物去瑞典不難喔..我去年帶狗去，今年帶回台灣。 荷蘭航空可以跟寵物一起飛，如果碰到航空意外比較安心，去年有碰到航空公司罷工..還有因為颱風改班機…寵物機票有可能要重新買喔….，瑞典是狂犬病免疫國家，只要有證明打狂犬病疫苗就可以了，記得抵達瑞典的時候可以去獸醫院申請歐盟護照，還有登記瑞典的寵物登記，因為我去年狗狗走失的時候雖然有晶片但是因為沒有登記歐盟的寵登，警察還是會找不到主人是誰喔。

We brought our cat, or should I say the cat who stayed with us, to Taiwan. We had to travel to Taiwan from one rabies free country to Taiwan without stopping in any country deemed a risk. The only flight available to us was from the UK to Taiwan. Before we left for Taiwan, we trained with our friend in a car. We put him in a carrier, revved up the engine like an airplane would, accelerated as fast as we could, and then stopped as fast as we could. We got out and talked to him inbetween these practice rounds to check on him, and then we repeated them to make sure he wouldn't be afraid of travelling on an airplane. To get to the UK we had to ship our friend as manifest cargo from either Stockholm or Gothenburg to London. Our trip took three days and nights. First we had to take a train to Stockholm and stay overnight at a hotel. The following morning we went to Arlanda airport to check our friend in as manifest cargo several hours before take off. We travelled on the same flight with SAS. Once we arrived in London, the staff at Heathrow airport left our friend on the tarmac for hours. We waited in the collection area while the staff continued to insist that our friend hadn't arrived. When we were finally allowed to collect our friend, after three hours of waiting, he was severly affected by hypothermia and was barely conscious. He was a tough person and regained his consciousness, but it took several hours for him to fully regain his composure. We stayed overnight at a London hotel and travelled on to Taiwan the next day. We travelled on an Eva Air flight from London to Taipei, the only one that was declared a direct flight to Taipei, although it did have a so called technical stop in Bangkok. We asked every staff member along the way to make sure our friend had water to drink, and they assured us he had, but that was not the case. This was not the fault of Eva Air, but rather the airport personnel responsible for cargo. The only positive part of our flight to Taiwan was when we arrived at the Taoyuan airport. He was already sitting and waiting at the collection area and when he saw us, we got a look that said; what are you up to? The Taiwanese airport personnel were really quick at taking care of him. I respect them for that. Ever since then, whenever we fly from Taoyuan airport, I always wave back at the tarmac staff waving goodbye to the plane. I hope you have seen them. One more positive thing that came out of him travelling in an airplane, taking off and landing three times on his way to Taiwan, was that he seemed immune to earthquakes. They are not as scary as taking off and landing in the cargo bay of an airplane. We have taken care of cats here in Taiwan, and they always hide when there is an earthquake. Our swedish furry friend never hid. He just sat through the quake waiting for it to stop, swaying back and forth, looking slighty annoyed. This was the long travel of one of our bravest friends, Mysseman, who came with us to Taiwan almost 10 years ago. Mysseman came from Öjebyn in Norrbotten, Sweden. He was kind and generous and accepted the kitties we took in to our home here in Taiwan. He left us in January this year at the age of 19 years. He is forever missed. If you travel to a European country from Taiwan, returning with them will be much worse. Please take that into consideration before you expose your friends to the stress of flying, not to mention the freezing temperature of Sweden. I am not saying; don't bring your cats with you. You owe it to your furry friends to bring them with you if you are intent on leaving, but if you are, please contemplate the return trip if you are going back to Taiwan in the future. That trip is worse than the one you seem intent to embark upon. If you should wish to return, the ticket price for your cats will be twice that of yours. We paid a thousand pounds sterling just for our friend's trip from Stockholm to London. Not that you shouldn't pay for it, but be prepared to pay a lot more going back to Taiwan. I wish your kitties a safe journey. I wish you a safe journey too so that the kitties have someone to take care of them in their new home. Don't let anything bad happen to them. Oh, and one more thing. Cats from different countries speak different languages, or at least dialects. Don't expect your kitties to understand Swedish cat language. That will take some time.
