Depression is problem in your head. Everyone needs different things to fix it. I was depressed when I was in university about 20 years ago. My doctor prescribed me different meds but didn't find one that worked. In the end, I figure it out on my own. It has been over 20 years now. For me, it is the winter and the isolation from my culture that got me. Over the years, I have adopt to what cause it. So I do get a bit down during winter time, but I know now to take a break and go sit by sunny window for a few minutes if it is sunny out. On top of that, I do things I love. There is not much Chinese culture here where I live but with internet so active, I get to keep up with my Chinese culture via RU-vid like watching your videos and talking to my friend back home. Even though I might not be as energetic during winter time, but I don't get depressed any more. I am glad you found your fix. And I hope it doesn't get to you again. It is a hopeless feeling when you are depressed. In my case, I know there is a fix and it is within me to find what is wrong and pull the root of it out and so it doesn't happen again.

Turning off the computer at night to retire to bed before midnight is my first step towards triumphing over my weaknesses. A drive to learn doesn't get me anywhere unless the body is rested and the mind is clear. The best achievers should learn to relax and let go as well.
