Oh dear sorry to hear that! Remember anyone with points must declare to your insurance company at renewal. Single and dual carriageway 60+70 WILL have a National Speed Limit Sign. Also watch out for Bus Lanes and Yellow Box Junctions! Highly recommended to have a few lessons with driving instructor once arrived to UK.
長氣D講多次,食speeding, or running red light, or no stop at STOP sign. Tickets will be on police file, no matter deducted points or not. Which will be affected your insurance rate at renewal. DON'T TRY!!!
I got a few question: 1. What would happen for those who speed while they use HK driving license to drive in the UK in their first year? 2. Is there a limit on number of taking the speed awareness course for erasing marks deduction?
1)If a non UK licence holder receives penalty points for an offence in the UK and does not hold a UK licence, DVLA will create a skeleton record so that the points are recorded and, in the event the person does apply for a licence in the future, there is a history of endorsements. 2)you can only take 1 speed awareness course every 3 years.
