I as an English speaker would call nori green, but I think in Japanese it’s considered 青? I know 緑 is a newer color-word, in older times 青 covered a broader section of hue, but I think I read that 青 is still considered the color of plants - the stuff that English would call “greenery”.
@@sus_gus Usually, Japanese people feel Nori's color くろ. When compare to high grade, next grade is colled みどり As a side note, low grade Nori is colled あか or ちゃいろ. And, it is true that you say, sometimes 青 mean green.
