This building is Yokohama City Port Opening Memorial Hall. In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the port opening of Yokohama, it was founded in 1917 by the donation of citizens.It is a stylish building.
@@japanesescenerychannel2842 It reminds me of archtitecture in my hometown Hamburg. I heared that in the Meiji era Japan and Prussia had intense exchange. This building reminds me of Town hall Osaka, Tokyo main station or Minstry of Justice, Tokyo.
It seems that Yokohama has become a place where Germans and Japanese interact. I also remembered Tokyo Station when I saw this building. It is said to be called "tatsuno free classic" in an architectural style that mixes red bricks and granite.
