Everyone listen up ! That kind of breaking demonstration is about how to use momentum ,accuracy , stability and focus! Breaking in that way of lifting the brick and break it shows that it can be done even with one finger .I was teaching and demonstrating that kind of people call it „Trick break“ in one of my Facebook posts a couple years ago ! So breaking one brick even with your palm is easy - two is also possible but it will hurt a bit - three and more can injure the practitioner and a good conditioned hand is necessary. Have fun and try before judging!

Just curious, why do you lift the brick up slightly with your left hand just before striking it?

My thought: If he just held the brick, then there is a chance that the blow might cause his left hand to rise, making the brick not break and injuring his finger. (failing a break is always worse than making the break).Because it is small and his left hand therefore can't create much torque statically. By timing the brick hitting the table at the same time as the strike, he also coordinates his two hands better, putting more force on the brick for that split second when he needs it. It probably also adds a little bit of force to make it easier.

@@NeutroniummAlchemist Your last statement was what I was getting at, although we are drawing different conclusions from it…😅

@@onemindonespirit I mean. It doesn't add much breaking force to drop the brick from an inch. You can try it yourself, I doubt the brick would break. Most of the breaking force is coming from his finger and the table. I think that if he had a longer brick, say twice as long, and had the same amount sticking off of the edge, he wouldn't have needed to do anything, because you can apply much more torque to the far end of the brick. Even better, use a vice, then the length of the brick won't matter.

@@NeutroniummAlchemist It’s a common trick. Once you know what to look for you’ll see it.

I return home, burn and rise again, summer, the crucible, fire, hell itself... it's always the same, burn and rise again... I keep walking, it's time to rebuild my world... but more and more me, More here, wanting to reconquer what was mine one day... Ithaca dear, some return. Thanks to all the warriors who have transmitted, preserved and sometimes protected with their lives, this fabulous legacy... Looking forward to going to Satria training tomorrow, everything happens for a reason, and each one of us has our destiny and our path... From the West, thank you. 🐵🍁🙏
