Why bitter taste?

@Hua Wei that is the mistake the producers usually make. Entertainment is marketing, and it make no sense to invite the customers and drive them away from buying your goods. Even if the novel ends in a bitter taste, one can talk it out with the novelist or make an arrangement with him or she how you want your movie or drama series to end.that will even drive the customers to read the book more also enjoys the drama. All the hard work was good for nothing. No body want to watch something that will stress them instead of stress relief. Personally, I hate bitter taste. The world already has enough taste, not to add other to daily life.

@Le Ah my perception is that a romantic drama should have a happy ending. If it is with a sad ending, then it should be classified as a tragic love story. In the Forbidden Flower, it has a happy ending as He Ran came back to Xiao Han. 2355025032023

@Le Ah They did. But you must look for the last episode with 40 over minutes & watch until the very end where after all the credits done, then you'll see her coming back to Xiao Han at the garden. There were a few tell-tale signs to hint that she's got well in the last episode. I, too, hope for a Season 2.

@@dabre9554 ho letto molti commenti positivi su forbidden flower, ma Yerry in questa parte non mi ha entusiasmato, mi sembra imbambolato, senza vita e un po' tonto. Lo vedo in parti più vive e brillanti, l'uomo maturo che si fa adescare da una ragazza capricciosa e sciocchina non mi garba. È un messaggio poco educativo...

I guess, TFF had a lot of positive comments on TFF, my guess: comments coming from viewers who got hot and horny watching the movie 🤨 They wanted to see more...& more especially of Jerry Yan's body. . Living vicariously perhaps thru the female lead? 😅😂😏 Well, the director succeeded marketing the Forbidden Flower. During the interviews, per Jerry Yan , the screenwriter/director instructed JY to do "what's horny". Staged BTS were filmed to hype the drama. Jerry Yan showed great acting skills in other dramas. Not in Forbidden Flower, which is not much acting - purely skin and erotic/kissing scenes. TFF sent out the wrong message that it's ok for young girls out there to go seduce the one they think they are in love with! What happened to self-respect? No to a sequel. Jerry Yan is a great actor. He does not have to show his naked upper body or agree for another bold movie to be more famous & have a good drama.

@Le Ah totally agreed with you. To me, this is his Best acting of all his dramas. The interaction with Xu Ruo Han is so good that I don't really feel the great age gap between them. Also, kudos to Ruo Han...a very good actress. This drama keeps me hanging on...not really able to move on. It's like a lingering taste of a good wine... Cheers🍷

Why you compares with qin han..?

I think Jerry is more captivating in comparison.

我也觉着何冉太嫩 就是小妹妹。 说是贫血虚弱体质 但天天活泼乱跳 淋雨也不感冒 剧情里没看她生病 。 no logic in the storyline . 画面是拍得很唯美 僅僅是因为看言承旭的戏 如果是其他人演萧寒 根本就可以弃剧 ， 本人从ep1-13 跳到 23-24完结。 换一个有深度的女主角 吧。 期待《同栖散策》言承旭林依晨演。
