Yamakusa: Man, I'm honored to be your first online collab ever. I still can't get over the fact that we both had the exact same idea of remixing Stellar Stellar together hahaha. It was a hard song to tackle, but those long Discord calls throughout the past few months were definitely worth it 🙂
fourfifteentwenty: You know, I actually started working on this lofi remix way before I even started writing the NCP lofi. But I got pretty stuck and couldn't really come up with much ideas for it, plus the song in general was pretty hard to work with because of its weird time signature changes. One day I was chatting with Yamakusa on discord and found that we both happened to have the same idea of making a remix for Stellar Stellar so we decided to work on it together. Honestly, I'm glad that we chose to collab because I don't think I would have been able to finish the remix by myself. Yamakusa brought some pretty fresh ideas for the remix which also helped me to get new ideas as well and our remix gradually progressed from there, and here we are :)
This was my first ever collab, and I'm happy that it was a great experience.

Is it weird to say that after hearing it, I kinda did get a feel that someone like you had a touch in it, before even reading the title fully.. Great job for the both of you! This is absolutely fantastic, and is something ill continue listening to since I'm in the middle of my exams {study but not really :)} I'm not sure a better way to describe it but It's very comfortable to listen to. Wonderful job.

This track is perfection. Amazing job both of you! Especially loving the parts where it has this layered-ish aspect to it. …I swear I'm seeing ripples in the star ocean when the lower notes hit at times.

Thank you!! I'm assuming you're talking about 1:28 - 1:55 right? For that part I was imagining getting sent out of the airlock from an orbiting spaceship, hence the initial silence, followed by floaty vibes and many layers moving around in reverse in both ears. Sorry if it's not the part you're talking about haha

@@Yamakusa Yes! I can definitely hear how the sequence relates to suddenly finding yourself in the void now that you mention it. Gives a bit of a different vibe to the xylophone-type instrument contrasting the piano there too. Thank you for the details, and looking forward to what's next!
